  • Depeche Mode, Erasure, Electronic e New Order, tudo de bom...

  • @thesfs1970 Yes Bernard of New Order and The Pet Shop Boys are in this band BUT ALSO...plus problly THE ULTIMATE guitar player for "80's music" Johnny Marr. This was his first solo work after The Smiths broke up

  • classic tune!

  • Just added to favorites!!!

  • This song pretty much sums up my life.

  • 15 people had no idea about good music!!...

  • el mejor grupo

  • I had the biggest crush on Bernard Sumner back when he was still a chavy looking little lad. Now he looks a bit more like some working stiff bloke from East Enders, but back in the 80's....... LOL :)

  • such a great synthpop era song¡¡¡

  • Greatest 80's song to never chart

  • I think (sometimes) that this is too good of a song....

  • ALWAYS be 1 of my favorite songs!!!

  • Let's see... Bernard Sumner, Johnny Marr, Neil Tenant, and others on this great song(and entire album), and they put out this crappy video?!?! No wonder it "flopped"! I still love it!

  • tema exelente, lastima que el grupo no siguio produciendo mas

  • Morrissey laughs when he hears this...

  • Hey guys I made this Electronic song, go check it out if you want. Some people like it. I have one job and that is making music, so any help or advice would be much appreciated. I know I am not that good yet. Hope I can be someday

    Thanks

  • My head goes into the clouds when I hear this............aaaaaaahhhhh

  • Karaoked this video and sent you a video response. :)

  • i got this cd and someone stolle it, please give it back to me whereever you are ill pay what you want, you name it, i want the original, my original

  • love this song - remember being a closeted kid in a small town , getting away with it all my life... haahaaa

  • (T)they must B (A)anorexic . . . that's a EJECT . . . Mrs. Garrett and Bryan Adams High School . . . thats's me since 1985 . . .

  • At the end of video sing the petshop boys singer?

  • @rousells hey mate... the singer is from New Order (after Electronic vanished), the other musician (its a duo) was in other bands u may know, PetShopBoys, NewOrder & other new wave bands, Lowe helped this group & Electronic also helped PSP & many other bands to make good music like this song...

  • @rousells almost forget, like many other musicians they help each other, a very rare example is michael jackson making the corus of some body is watching me by rockwell... check it out...

  • I remember waking up to this song back in high school...it's a good one to wake up to.

  • In 1990 I was in loved with a beautiful Girl, And this song was at that time. When I listen to it....All that memories come back to my mind. Thank´s.

  • Peaked at #38 in March 1990. I was in college. Such a damed good song!

  • q merrrdaaa

  • if you dont get happy at 0:50 secs- there is something wrong with your heart.

  • love this song!

  • The entire disk is great. Are you kidding me The Smith's, New Order and The Pet Shop Boys together.

  • The entire disk is great.

  • This is a great song.... one of the best of songs that new order & pet shop boys done

  • Pet shop boys and new order combined was bound to be good!

  • it's even a chris marker video *falls over*

  • outro is pure psb+marr goodness. neil with hair, young 'barney' moping about getting wet - those were the days!

  • Move over 2011 and let the 80's take over!!

  • He looks a lot like Simon Pegg. Are they related?

  • I read this song was inspired by Morrissey - funny how that poor chap gets so much hay and all - anyway I love both this song and Morrissey!

  • i'm a tupac hip hop guy; love gangster rap; but I've always liked this song a lot.

  • TEMONNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haven't we all had this happen to us at one time. :-(

  • a-has another great similiar band

  • Gran tema !!!!!!!!!

  • wow. takes me back to Revival in Philadelphia. Thanks!

  • I have always dug the Smith's, New Oreder, Joy Division, Depressed Mode (:D) and the like. I have had Electronic's music when I saw their first CD and I gotta say, it still has yet to be equaleed by the copy cat type of groups. What i like most is that Johnny's music sounds even more upbeat when put behind Bernard's lyrics.

  • Listening to this song on the radio, they sound like the Thompson Twins.

  • I just discovered this song and it's so good that it's killing me

  • @spinct83 It's one of my alltime favorites!!! Enjoy!!!

  • @spinct83

    Been around 20+ years.

    Thank you!!

  • wondeful song!

  • nice!! thats all i can say

  • the intro of this song is beautiful

  • Fucking fantastic!

  • best trio EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • I couldn't agree with you more on this . It just shows that proof Everything happens for a reason! Since they had that broke up a new band evolved and was incredible ! I am so lucky to have been born to be old enough to enjoy the 80's and early 90's to witness the evolution of alternative music. I do still listen to New Order's recent music - When the siren's Call . and its good and all this time when Electronic was formed they were ahead of there time I could hear this today !:)!

  • This song could come out tomorrow and it would still sound fresh!! The universe was in complete sync when Sumner, Marr, Tannent and the rest created Electronic .. I am honored to have been around when this song was on the radio ... Magnificent!!

  • Yesterday I walk walking in the rain. Just to get wet, on purpose.

  • I remember when two of the members of NEW ORDER broke apart and formed Electronic. The genre of music they subsribe to is still the same, however, Electronic just doesn't carry the same appeal that New Order had. Here we are several decades later and their songs are still soothing to hear. Bernard and Johnny Marr, I believe, are the members of this group - course I could be wrong?

  • @LiquidMuse360 Yes, when New Order and The Smiths broke up, Sumner and Marr formed Electronic

  • reminds me of an 80's video love it

  • no comment. That's Electronic.

  • Sumner-Tennant-Marr-Lowe perfect match.

  • my loved my 80's party days.....we were SO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

lol but i am biased every generation thinks the same way.......

  • why don't they make music like this anymore? rap stinks!

  • @poloblueboy I dunno...I like some Beastie Boys, Fat Boys and Eminem's grown on me. I remember before a Ministry concert they were blaring NWA's Straight Out of Compton...first time I ever heard it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing...hysterically funny! One thing I liked about the '80s Alternative scene-it was about enjoying music of all kinds (except maybe hair bands).

  • EXCELLENT GREAT SONG!!! CHEERS FROM PARAGUAY SOUTH AMERICA!!!

  • Hey guys. Iv been trying to match my videos to the most similar crowds. And visualizers, trippy-electro trype things seem to be it. Im really sorry for slightly spamming this video, but id like to be as polite as possible. Id appreciate it if you guys checked out my channel and would see you if you like any of the videos or songs. All songs where made or remixed by me and the videos where made by me. • Nutty stuff, takes me back to paper routes, summer camp and Jen Arquin.

  • dj over kill huston tx

  • Did they steal this from "Love My Way" or vice versa?

  • super-group of the decade. absolutely love the album

  • @singaporemusicboy I agree they are a supergroup and they rule.. but the supergroup of the 80's is the traveling wilburys.. there is no argueing. dylan, orbison, harrison, petty, lynne

  • its not as funny or cold as Morrissey's statements to Marr

  • I swear I remember a different video for this back in high school. Anyhow, love this song. Love New Order, Smiths, PSB.

  • @shmoker2010 hey there are two versions of this i have both think i found on here

  • @shmoker2010 Its all the same....Its marr from the smiths and a guy from new order I think....I know pet shop boys for sure

  • Genius. Marr is just awesome. I never did well with New Order, but love Sumner on this, along with Tennats completely totally immediately recognizable voice on the chorus... great team up. Its all been said. Sorry. Thanks though to those guys for a nice gift. I also have to admit I like the little sting to that apparently goes with it. I honestly don't think a lot of people would have seen in Morrisey what Marr and soon millions of others did and LOVEed.. Who cares, just a thought of mine.

  • @taylorhippie Have you checked out Slow Emotion Replay from The The? Marr is fantastic.

  • man, i can't stand videos with the singers singing at the audience. talk about no creativity.

  • Good vocal team on the song. Neil Tennant's voice fading in and out is awesome. Great electronic song.

  • isso q é juntar o util com o agradavel!!Perfeitoooo!

  • @roman31st -sure! Wonderfully gay! ((^_^))

  • @roman31st Its near 2/4 gay... Mean, for Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe maybe not for Bernard Sumner & Johnny Marr.

  • @roman31st Oh Lord - laughing hysterically!! You must be one of those morons that adores T-fag and all of that manufactured crap on the radio today. The only reason there is such a big following for today's crap is because youth today are complete morons. Oh - and all of that addiction to ecstasy and meth. Have fun - you'll be brain-dead by age 30. LOL - clown.

  • @steelerdave2000 : So TRUE...A 20 yr old "badboy with an attitude" masterpiece + an embarrassment to hip-hop LOL.....An Eminem & Lil Wayne boy.

  • @steelerdave2000 haha hi five i hate todays muzic and im 17 lol xD

  • @abuendiau Tennant is and Lowe isn't!!

  • no its not its alot better than todays shit! its better than gay ass of wayne!

  • Bernard's little smile at the start just kills me every time. So sweet. TUUUUNE

  • Great song. The Pet Shop Boys and Sumner are the best!!!!

  • Great song. The Pet Shop Boys and Summer are the best!!!!

  • Classic!!!

  • I guess this solves another mystery for me. All these years I thought it was New Order who did this song. Of course, when a song fades into obscurity, you can't find anything out about it.

  • Classic!!!

  • Gotta love that Casio Keyboard :(

  • isn't that one guy in the video in pet shop boys?

  • Kick azz classic:)

  • Stone cold classic

  • really love this song. reminiscing high school days. :D

  • quality.. loved this, for so long..

  • buen tema

  • wow...johnny marr post Smiths...

  • Take that, Morrissey!!!

  • this is the best song of them like it or not

  • 80' s simple the best !

  • It's hilarious that the Psychedelic Furs' "Love My Way" is a top related vid - anyone want to guess why?

  • @ftwelve12 why

  • sumner, marr ...master piece , then throw in tannent, palmer, and lowe on some songs is absolute pure genius

  • @CollectorOfMusic not to mention Anne Dudley (Art of Noise) conducting the strings. Love this song, 1990 seems like ages ago...actually it was!

  • 20 years ago and current as ever. Maybe I should but I don't feel old because I have this whole album on my ipod.

  • 20 years ago and current as ever. Maybe I should but I don't feel old because I have this whole album on my ipod.

  • Cop that Morrisey!

  • If there were a category for "Awesome Songs That Make Absolutely No Sense Whatsoever" this song would be damn near top of the list.

  • @fractalchez While it is nonsense, I love the opening line. It was written by Tennant.

  • Fabulous!

  • great tune

  • magic song , great talent

  • such a feel good song :)

  • a beautiful collaboration. Johnny Marr is up there with the greatest artists of his generation.

  • Wow! Can't believe this song is 20 years old. Still sounds great. I remember I was a freshman in college, 1st year of university when this song came out. Brings back memories.

  • Sumner and Marr..what a combination...from two of the best bands to come out of England.....And Tennant ain't to bad either..

  • love 80's old school...

  • i've been walking in the rain just to get wet on purpose

  • I miss New Order.

  • I miss all three of these guys!

  • What no one likes New Order? Electronic probably wouldn't of happen if New Order didn't exist!

  • @dashstepp this track reeks of 'vanishing point'. fantastic creation, this is. def @ the top of my list for this album.

  • fabux2! I'm a sr in high school all over again...
