I would have never guessed this Charles. I would have thought you would have been sitting in Japanese Tea Gardens pondering the depths of the Cosmos at that time. It's nice to see you are also a man of the world who likes beautiful women and big breasts and a nice tight ass in a bikini! That is some of the most sacred geometry on this planet. Thanks for the view, brought some great memories of how cool life was in the 70's. Love Jeff Beck and have also used his music in vids Many Blessings Rob
Way cool!! I have seen a lot of those cars and it brings back some great memories. Thank you too for including dragbikes!! And the pictures of the ladies that were important too, like Jungle Pam. The music was really good too, of course... it's Jeff Beck!!!
my grandfather raced a 61 belair with 348 ci. he went undefeated in it. he sold it and bought a modified 57 belair. he used connections with the airforce to get jet fuel lol.
Regarding the dates of, and the equipment used for the audio recordings: A few years ago attended a 3 day Nostalgia Drag Racing event at Thompson Drag-raceway, Thompson, Ohio. I loved seeing all the old vintage racers (just like the old days) and I recorded the audio at that meet. I used a digital recorder (M-AUDIO microtrack II - with its stereo mic), a fantastic piece of field equipment which fits nicely in one hand.
@CGimaging Ah, I see. Thanks a lot. Sounds fantastic. I used to use a SONY TCD-3 DAT recorder back in the early '90s - it wasn't bad but the 16-bit ad-da converters didn't sound nearly as good as this M-AUDIO unit. Seeing the music was performed by Jeff Beck and Terry Bozzio reminds me of Frank Zappa singing about Punky Meadows being "more fluid than Jeff Beck"! :-)
like the best man, 1320 memory lane very very cool

Is the dragster audio from the late '60s early '70s, too? What a gorgeous sound, Lord have mercy! Would love to know the equipment used to record it.
