Question: I have no clue about woofers etc, but how much would it cost to get like 2 15" woofers and all the parts like amps and batteries etc? also is it possible to have all the stuff in the trunk without it being hooked up to the car in any way? like removable and separate from the car?

@choongification depends on the type of subs, amp and batteries, i got all my stuff for right under 1500 the install is what killed me, total on everything i spent was about 2500

No, not really, it needs the alternator, otherwise the battery would drain very quickly. The cost for a full setup is around $1000 for mid-range stuff, maybe a lil more.
