  • $500 car with a $2000 system?

  • @Dannydanthepizzaman

this car is worth 1,200 and its actually a rare car

and the system is well under 200 when it was purchesed. everything has been replaced with real brand name subs and amps

  • @Dannydanthepizzaman

the system that replaced it was worth 340 i believe. the one in my car (1999 Honda Civic) is worth 230

  • The Amp blew out xD

    1600 watt subs on a 1000 amp

  • @Thrash05 Yeah? My woofers blew before I could even make the video. I knew that these things were a waste of money.

  • @theweedman

uh i never said the subs blew. the subs are working 100% and are working well and were well worth the buy.

the "AMP" Blew because it was running 1600 Watts on a 1000 watt amp

  • @Thrash05 Just to verify, these subwoofers are 800 watts "max" power. This means that 800 is the maximum amount of wattage that the subs will handle. But, they will almost never even hit that 800 watts, unless you are playing music with constant hard-hitting base. And if they do, it will only be in very short burst. You could run both of these subs on a 800 watt amp and not have a problem, that's if they were quality subs, but they aren't. That Pyramid amp is pretty shitty as well. Just saying.

  • @theweedman

even if they are Max i still think the RMS is higher than the amp can handle. it says its a 1000 watt amp but its 2 channels that have 400Watt.

Yes the amp sucks but for one its called a cheap build. it doesnt matter if they suck or not. if they suck then keep it to yourself and do not comment.

  • @Thrash05 Hey, I tell it like it is. You put a $48 amplifier behind a $38 box with two $24 subwoofers and you'll bound to be dissatisfied with the overall performance of the system. Fact is, the equipment that you bought sucks. Although, I purchased the same subwoofers, I knew that this was some cheap shit and wasn't anticipating outstanding performance. I left comments on this video for two reasons, to inquire about the subs and to let people searching them know what's up. So chill.

  • @theweedman

the box is well over $100

and we were not dissatisfied. they ran fine and it served its perpose. works fine and its cheap.

  • Yeah, the RMS is 400 and the Peak is 800. I don't think it is possible to run a 1000w amp on 1600w. These subs have a bad rep over the internet, they are known to blow quickly. But, people are fucking idiots, so I didn't pay the reviews any mind. I just wanted another owner's opinion. I hope these will suffice for my needs, but I won't complain about $30 subs not cracking concrete. I will probably split my subs up to two channels, using 250w for each sub at 4ohm each. I will also post a video.

  • @theweedman

you can go over the Wattage on a Device but if you go over the wattage the AMP will Run hot and can break

also post your video as a video responce

  • I had $60 to burn, so I bought two of these cheap ass woofers. I haven't gotten them to test them out, but judging from this video they are as shitty as I thought. I bought a 1600 Boss amp, I don't want to blow the speakers. How many watts are you running on the Pyramid amplifier?

  • @theweedman

its a 1000 Watt amp but he is running the amp on i think 1600 Watts because each Sub is 800 Watts but they might have a lower RMS maybe 500. Peak might be 800

He loves the Subwoofers and thats all that counts, i think they are good and worth the $24
