Being stuck at WSU in Pullman is a little bit easier when I listen to cuts like The Ave and The Town (Macklemore). It brings me back to the times when I wasn't college bound, but getting the most important and meaningful education I've had yet, on the Ave. I love our culture, our community. Local music, especially northwest "conscious" hip hop, gets me pumped up and proud to be from Seattle.
