@alexcoconutts they used the same theme as when he was drum major then... the DNA thing... didnt think the band did very much early in the school year... i though they did all their comps towards middle and end of the year... wich if it wasnt kyle, this would be 2008
I think the voice over about pre mature babies was out there. Couldve ruined it for you guys. Cuz mayb a judge had 1 and he was offended by it. jus my opinion that was reall y out there
I remember Moorpark being cold ... but in the three years I competed there was never any fog ... and I remember Thousand Oaks being a GREAT band then ... and they still are!
lol! band was freakishly awesome! i wish my band had a sound like that. we are a small band, but we are blowin' some air for our size! i really liked the whole "everybody turn around and shout something i couldnt understand" part. Looked very fun, now if my band director would have some fun with us...
what instruments are playing the solos?
tumpetpianocello 1 year ago

I think the fog adds a little somethin' to the show.

Its kinda funny how the year before, Royal did "the time machine", complete with voice overs and similar chromatic runs and a similar vibe.

you know, you really cant appreciate a show like this until you march the ladder of success hahahaha
looking back on all the memories of this show, it actually wasnt that bad

I think this show goes well with Reeths Puffer High School 2007 show. They played Imagine. I think the two shows mixxed musically would be awesome.

for tubaquiter2, when we turn around we were shouting a countdown =]
the people who jump first start at 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2.
then the next group starts at 10. its like a ripple but we all get to 1 at the same time.
in case you were wondering what we were saying =]

this was an awsome show to do for my first year. we actually pretty much one everything =]

Man, I can't believe I missed this. I'm in Oxnard's band, and we left almost every comp early, so we didn't see many 5A or 6A bands.
Great job, though. I really like this show.
