8ball you sound like every parent that has ever heard the next generations music
"it was so much better in my day etc.."
Stick in your rut or perhaps maybe you might get yourself out and hear some of the good music that is still being made. Check out Kirk Degiorgios ART label for instance.
im too young 2 have experienced the good old times.. when i listen to those tunes it makes me sad i will never be able to experience anything like those raves! ofc i cant tell the difference but i feel like it used to be a lot more free and less stuck up!
let's hope for sum change, so younger people can actually experience what u experienced back then! keep the partying up!
@festvalsfunerals - OK, maybe good music is being released every month. And where do you gather to hear that music? Where are the free parties - legislated against - where are the warehouse raves? - legislated against. Yes you may have the tunes, but we had Castlemorton, and massive outdoors parties and raves. This generation has almost nothing that isn't heavily sponsored and corporate. Shame. As for grumbling and being old, well that's the prerogative of people that have lived a life ;)
@Eightball69 Mate you've got it all wrong i was there back early 90's been ravin ever since. There are plenty of free party's & Warehouse raves still happening in glasgow these days u just got to know the right people. As for the music although alot of the so called classics still sound quite fresh & relevant alot of it is a bag of shite when u compare it to todays music. It just keeps gettin better. But thats only MY opinion!! I'm not trolling :)
Only words like distance, memories, spacesoul, never to be returned to, passed over, forgotten, empathy, working a shift at Ford in Detroit, old girlfriends, black choirs, real good times, going in different directions & coming to the rightful conclusion to call it a day, casio plastic keyboards with two settings that really are brilliant, but don't have a sequencer, washing machines, meeting british dj's who won't admit that what they play is shite, forever, forever, forever.

But, this isn't the best version. I think it's called Reese's spiritual mix or something. It's on the 12" with the lime green cover. Someone upoad it please.
What a wonderful mix - I'm so glad I lived through these times and the house scene, I feel so sorry for young kids these days with nothing going on musically....
hey, therre may not be a whole lot going on ,but I'm hoping us young'uns is going to raise up this decade and bring something good to the table besides dubstep (which really ain't that good)
@Eightball69 yep its hard. im born in 1995. todays electronic music arent creative only some bassline, some samples, drumloop from some sample pack and its on MTV Dance as the number 1.
2. lots of good music is beeing released every month. but i guess you'd rather sit there and grumble instead of digging for good new music, because you grew old and lazy, Mr. Old Timer
@Eightball69 ahh come on! there is justin bieber and rhianna and miley cirus and jay z and eminem and lady ga ga and all the great artists for the youth of today ;P lol
Still looking for the 'Reese Spiritual Mix' of this on here?

Not often a remix brings something extra to the original, this one does actually.
