Watch Gom.tv and the NASL. Countless cases of 200/200 or near Max and they just massed in one big battle. Sc1 was more enjoyable cuz it forced players to split their forces and have battles on many fronts.

Guys please... Dont hate on Starcraft 2 Starcraft Brood War were epic perfect and everything... Yet remember that came with patches over time. Blizzard are doing their best to rewind one of the best games in the history. Starcraft 2 is growing popular aswell, SC2 will make the epic Starcraft series last, and not be forgotten :)

@MajinVegeto89 It's never gonna be as epic as Brood War. Why? Because of the gameplay. Brood War is a much harder game to play, which allows you to get epic moments. I'm not saying SC2 is a bad game, just that it's not as intensive, and doesn't require as much skill to play.

I suck at both games, but I like watching Brood War matches a lot more, because here every single move counts and one extra hit could decide the game.

There's just more viability in every unit, and there's just more you can -do- with each individual unit.

They got rid of a lot of redundant tasks, sure, maybe lowered the APM required, but noobified? Hardly. It's still a difficult RTS to master and still has it's tiers of play like SC1 did.
