You don't spend a decade building up the mystery of who he is and how he does what he does, and then pull something like that.

@Blasti1987 I disagree; Tiberium Sun had massive machines of war, Titans that carried 155MM cannons while the replacement uses an 80MM cannon, the Mammoth MK II had four rail guns and two SAMs. Also, humanity was actually reduced by quite a bit in population, but C&C 3 disregarded that and tried to introduce Tiberium to our own world.
I don't expect the writers of C&C 4 to come up with a brilliant double or triple twist as far as the way Nod and Kane are to be seen is concerned....this is not 24...there this could happen :-).
But still...C&C 4 will hopefully bring the brilliant C&C-Tiberian Saga to an definite and breathtaking finally.

During the Tiberium Wars, the focus of NOD is on the use of Tiberium for the advancement of humanity. But NOD is said to be an ancient organization. What were it's tenets before tiberium and Kane? Also, Kane has survived death through officially unknown means, but how many times? How old is he? Has he been the messiah from the very beginning? It's interesting to ponder the idea of a Kane that is millenia old.
Kane may not even be human, it is implied that the Scrin have met him before and even they (an advanced alien civilization) have no idea where his "genetic derivatives" come from.
Though the fact that in Tiberium Sun he shows some scars from the Ion Canon that is seen wiping him out underneath that mask of his that kind of destroys that theory so maybe it is the alien thing. o-o
EA fucked everything up sersily. I mean kane returning for the third time? Get some new material if hes gona show up at least make him resected in an awsome and interstng way. Not to mention when EA wanted to make all the tiberian sun charcters go away EA makes it so nod just blows up the phillidophia with one missle. What a load of bullshit. a nuke can kill a city, why waste more than one on a space station? In the tiberian sun final vid, i doubt they used nukes on it, looked to me to be just regular missiles.......
Well as we all now know, there could be a possible explanation für Kane returning so often:
1. There was a scene in C&C TS:Firestorm showing many bodies in water tanks looking suspiciously like Kane. This could emply that Kane Nr.1 died indeat in Sarajevo 1998 in his Temple but the clones live on.
2. In one of the Scrin scenes of C&C 3 TW Overloard (or how that strange buggy thing is called) saied something like "directives concerning Kane are known but the genetic code not" => Kane = Alien?
or rather Kane an alien of an different equally tiberum interested fraktion send to earth to prepare earth for that aliens?
or/and Kane = Alien /simular to the scrin i. e. can heal his body with tiberium
therefore he might not have died properly in C&C TS after O'Neal killed him because there was plenty of Tiberium in that room.
Who knows...
unfortunetly non of the new C&C Titles could really, exactly and finally determine who or what Kane as from EA's intendet point of view is sopposed to be.
The clone theory is my theory too. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the route Westwood was going and had they not been brought 3 might have shown the clones in their water tanks in one of the campaign scenes exposing the Kane clones. He was alive back in Red Alert 1 so maybe in his old age Kane began cloning himself so his 'cause' could live on. It also aids to the cult thing making himself seem immortal to his followers. He would've still be alive in 1995 (First game year) but he'd be old.
Westwood/EA rejected the connection between Kane in RA and the Tiberium Universe even though there was a video at the end of Sovjets campain connecting both universes. So officially - if we go on with the clone theory - Kane might have just been the man in his mid 30s we all saw in 1995 and began cloning himself afterwards.

Wwll what I find annoying about the orcas and the firehawks is that they cannot attack or defend themself against air targets (of course firehawks can if they are switched into a different mode) while almost every single other air unit can like the Venoms, Vertigo's, PAC's and fighters. It makes me go >:(
Sorry I can't help it, just that I want some people to understand that they need to see what some Nod supporters are going into before they call Nod the "good" guys. Because after all if you played the Nod missions in the past you see them doing evil atrocities in comparison to GDI.

It was Nod's decision to keep the yellow zones inhospitable, Kane would not allow Tiberium to be contained. Tiberium stops vegetation from growing. That's why The blue zones there is less tiberium and more vegetation. Well...could be right but there are many arguments against that theasis:
1. in C&C 1 there was a scene, within which a NOD Flamethrouwer burns villages and villagers i.e. innocent civilians.
2. Nods inforced tiberium-treatments during the Operation: Regenesis in C&C Renegade
3. the producers in the frequently released BCPT often refer to Nod as the "bad guys" and to Kane as the audience's favourite villan.

Concerning the RA 1 apearance of Kane:
Westwood/EA rejected the connection between Kane in RA and the Tiberium Universe even though there was a video at the end of Sovjets campain connecting both universes. So officially - if we go on with the clone theory - Kane might have just been the man in his mid 30s we all saw in 1995 and began cloning himself afterwards.

Wwll what I find annoying about the orcas and the firehawks is that they cannot attack or defend themself against air targets (of course firehawks can if they are switched into a different mode) while almost every single other air unit can like the Venoms, Vertigo's, PAC's and fighters. It makes me go >:(

Sorry I can't help it, just that I want some people to understand that they need to see what some Nod supporters are going into before they call Nod the "good" guys. Because after all if you played the Nod missions in the past you see them doing evil atrocities in comparison to GDI.

Nods just tired of GDI's corruption, holding the Blue Zones for themselves, leaving the shattered Yellow Zones for the rest of the population. It goes to show that Nods cause is just, as it carries on fighting for over 3 wars!

It was Nod's decision to keep the yellow zones inhospitable, Kane would not allow Tiberium to be contained. Tiberium stops vegetation from growing. That's why The blue zones there is less tiberium and more vegetation. If nod had the resources to launch a full scale war across the world with 50% of the planets population undertheir control they can do anything they want with the land. But guess what Tiberium continues to grow and Kane will allow no exception.

If you havent figured it out that kane has been killed every time GDI thought they did then you are an idiot. The only reason why he still "lives" is because he has cloned himself so he cannot "die" so it doesn't matter how many times GDI kills him, he will never truly die...he is too many...

I Dont Belive Kane is a clone because in C&C1 he gets shot by a ion cannon and comes back in TS with his face half burned fro mthe ion cannon strike and in TS:FS at the end the people in the tubes look nothing like kane and it might be a clonning valt BUT for other people so CABALs syborg army could grow without having to farm humans and also the same kane by the looks of it returns in Kane's Wrath so thats why i dont think hes a clone

If you are a CNC vetran then you will know of the NOD propaganda missions done in Tiberian Dawn. Bombing of the Grain Trade Center in Vienna.Burning of a village in Libya because of Nikoomba needed to be assassinated.
killing a large convoy of civilians being evacuated by GDI in Owen Hadjera.
Eliminating civilian population in Gabon to prevent tiberium infection from spreading.
And stealing a GDI Orca to destroy a village in the CentralRepublic and GDI.I COULD GO ON FOREVER WITH THIS LIST!!!!!

The Mutants didnt follow under their banner but GDI supported them as they did GDI and Kane made the mutants and do you even know why they turned against Kane? Talking of using people, weren't GDI only helping the mutants so that Tratos would read the tacitus for them? Ie: using them. GDI woulda let them die had it not been for their own desire to have the tacitus translated. GDI are elitist pseudo-fascists masquerading as a force for "the people", choosing to only protect the richest from Tiberium, and leaving the poor to survive alone ...or I just prefer to play the game as Nod :P

You put up a decent, well-rounded argument, something I wasn't expecting from the internet (no offence).
It was fun I won't deny, but since it's fictional anyway, it really is about which weapons are more fun. I like orcas (venoms look more like 'em than the GDI brute "orca") and fire.
I also like Kane's speeches, they're awesome. Can't deny the man is an orator.

id have to say the Mammoth MKII simply because its the biggest, baddest tank in the whole C&C universe.
but there's something delightfully evil about the Avater mech - big black demon stomping around, eating its own allies to become more powerful... plus its NOD, which means its THE TECHNOLOGY OF PEACE

I always liked the original Orca, but the orca MK2 and tibwars orca both suck and aren't the Orca I like. Too boxy.
I also like the Nod flame tank. Driving that thing in renegade was a whole barrel of fun ^.^
