  • HOLLLY CRAAAP!!

  • wahnsinn! awesome!

  • dude this is ********* nice

  • Great Job, I want to make a Set of DoW SM (Blood Angel) Terrain Pieces also. Might be able to make the Mushroom Pcs from Green Stuff & Skulls, get set the Undead Warriors boxes and use there heads, I got a bag of skuls from a web Site, Metal cant remember site address though, I googled to it. again Awesome Work, want to scale mine so fits under my Thunder Hawks like in DoW to.

  • Thats amazing... who could dislike that!

  • It looks awesome

  • super super awesome man. you should definitely do a mold and cast that thing.

  • 2:40

    FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @AustralianPyro u didn't just lose the game did you?

  • awesome job great terrain

  • VERY LEGIT and i don't play the game... just the rts on pc

  • @DthSprtn Thanks, I appreciate that.

  • very legit and i don't even play the game.. just the rts on pc

  • @shiznaft1 how much did you get it for?

  • @jeremiahdrigg PM on the way...

  • @shiznaft1 do you use that program alone or in conjunction with premier?

  • @jeremiahdrigg I just use that... I haven't used premier in years. I would have to take a refresher course...LOL

  • Shiz, what program(s) do you use to produce your videos? I would have sent this by PM but I think the PMs are buggy and probably would never get to you. Thanks.

  • @jeremiahdrigg I use adobe after effects CS5

  • Damn, that is a great job ^_^ Well done

  • That is great i wish i could do some thing like.

  • Nice work! You should be proud of it and finish it off with a great paint job.

    Well done mate!

  • Wow this thing is coming out just epic! The level of detail you have got going is awesome!

  • @VividAdventures2010 I appreciate that. Thanks.

  • that, is something you just cannot improve apon, anything else will just be glutton for detail, obviously clean up the edges and paint it.

something that probably can't be stressed enough, take your time painting, its to beautiful to mess up with a bad paint job.

  • @Arconpineapple I hear you there. I plan to do it in stages so that I don't get tired or make mistakes.

  • looking sweeeeeeeet!!! looks like a huge space ship!! congrats!

  • @jcbriseno Wish I could take credit for the design. The guys at Relic, THQ, and GW came up with it...

  • wow, is awesome

  • @Occhiodiargento Thanks

  • Freaking hell! I saw MWG Dave's Guard HQ and that looked good for a game but this is like the god of all terrain pieces!

How long did it take to make?

  • @Llevarion Thanks. You are too kind. It took about three months off and on but not too many hours perhaps 20 or 30 hours tops.

  • @Shiznaft1 No problem mate, you do deserve praise for this

  • @Shiznaft1 can u plz post a vid on how u did it?

  • @TheFlapAttack I will do a walk through, I am planning on starting the next piece this weekend.

  • Amasing work you do there. subbed and Thumbs up!

P.S. have you checked RONLEEC1 already? He is doing a Computer Case using Polystyrene sheeting, maybe its worth a look? BTW It dont looks like a PC Case at all, its more a highly detailed terrain piece like you are doing.

  • @Arbornoctua Thanks, I have not checked it out but I will. Thanks for the subb and the thumbs up!

  • are you gonna mold cast it?? if you do , it will be really really cool as you can make as many as you want easily

  • @meow7983 I don't know how to do that. I am not even sure how I would approach it. It is really big and that would be a lot of resin.

  • @Shiznaft1 hmm...i see, well i am now trying to cast small model with silicon mold agent, it's called "easy mold". i think you can try something similar. try something small then work you way up

  • Very nice work! Man that thing is beautiful.

  • SHHHHHP HAAAAAAAAA SHHHHHHHP HAAAAAAAAAA Impressive. (Vader Impression)

  • @jeremiahdrigg I freaking LOL'd 8^)

  • looking pretty good =)

  • I recognize it now from the game. Almost shocked GW hasn't jumped on that idea. Still hella awesome scratch build.

  • Seriously dude that is freaking awesome and made up of all kinds of win. It must taken forever to get that done. I love all the little details.

  • It's coming out very sweet!!! Love the panel work and details of it!!

  • that looks incredible.

  • That is wonderfully awesome my friend!!! I can't wait to see that all painted up and weathered!

  • @Generalsplatton Thanks bro!

  • very nice work. I am IMPRESSED!! ALmost looks seemless. PRO built.. Respect bud..

  • @Renzero89 That means a lot coming from and artist like you. I have seen the terrain that you are building. The way you are molding that foam with a file is a work of art.

  • very good like the top,, most dont get the little details in on the top mostly look at he side when they build,, great job..

  • @vanhammer73 Thanks, I agree. I knew that I had to focus on that because it is so low to the ground.

  • you should put the imperial symbol on the garage door!

  • @TweedleDededee Great suggestion, but I have plans for that real-estate. 8^)

  • thats awesome man. subbed :)

  • @666eripmav666 I appreciate the sub, and the kind words. Thanks.

  • great i love it! , can anyone anser this question can space marines use valkriys because i have one fully painted and ready for my blood ravens but someone told me i couldnt use it :( , also shiznaft1 could you give me any pointers on how to highlight my blood ravens???

  • @reviewSHF I don't think space marines can use it. However if you play Blood Angels you could say it "counts as" a Storm Raven.

  • tau shield generators or drones

  • @Thepainteroftzeentch You mean for the missing pieces? Yeah that might work, but I think they would stick out as Tau pieces. I appreciate the idea though, thanks.

  • awesome sauce

  • @skarnir Thats the best kind LOL!

  • caste it!!!!!

  • @ThePatapon13 If only I knew HOW!!!! LOL. I need to do some research on molding and casting so that I can try that. I hear that the supplies can be expensive.

  • I love it bro looks just awesome great detailing. You better let me see it after you get it all painted Or I will be pissed lol I know you will and i am stoked. One question how tall, wide, and long is it in inches just curious. Thanks for the vid bro

P.S I think everyone ends up with gaps when working with plasticard unless its just one piece so I hear ya on gaps and to be honest this model doesnt have that many gaps :)

  • @FiveStarRating22 First let me say thanks! I will be glad to post it after I get it painted up. Measurements are 17 inches long, 11 inches wide at the wides point (4.5 wide main body), 5.5 inches high at the highest point and 3.5 in the main body. I tried to scale it so that the marines could fire from the windows. Thanks for watching. About the gaps, I appreciate that.

  • @Shiznaft1 Thanks for the measurements I was just curious and thats pretty damn good on scale then too and a nice size piece of scenery your gunna have alot of fun with that on the gaming field take care bro thanks again

  • lol thats wicked well done mate .

  • @12345mmo cheers!

  • looks realy nice very acurate

  • @kingofmenoth I struggled with how accurate I should try to make it. Thanks, I am glad that you like the level of detail.

  • kick ass

  • @999warhammer Cheers.

  • pure awesomeness

  • @WargameStudios2010 Much appreciated.

  • much much better than MWG!!

the little details really bring the piece to life, the skulls would be a nice final touch :)

  • @montecarlo712 I can't say that. If it were not for Wargamer Dave I never would have been motivated enough to finally try this. Thanks so much for the kind words.

  • @Shiznaft1 dont be so modest! you can give him credit for the inspiration.. ill give you that!! but you're work is simply perfect, the attention to detail is really quite superb!

  • @montecarlo712 Thanks man! I need to put some of your tutorials to use. I need to build a cutting table. to help me make straight cuts on the foam. Right now I am doing everything with a box knife. 8^)

  • @Shiznaft1 hahha THATS... how it all starts....!! hell... i only wanted to MAKE my own cutter then it turned into all THIS!

im pretty sure you did, but make sure you subscribe to LetsCutFoam on youtube. Thats where ill be uploading all the new videos and stuff.

But definately, check out the website, it should have everything you need. Let me know if you want help with anything or have questions or whatever!

    take care :)

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Seriously, excellent work mate, and happy new year to you too!

    Cat

  • @Catattafish Thanks bud.

  • Fantastic work!

  • @MrJwouts67 Thanks

  • That is exquisite mate. Seeing that come to life from the first rough foamboard mock-up has been a real treat. Keep up the good work and make sure to show it of when its painted.

  • @Wortiger It has been fun for me to build. I have wanted to do it for so long it was nice to see it develop over time. I just had to be patient and not quit because it didn't instantly look great LOL

  • came out great man are you going to release a template for it?

  • @CranberryMuffinmanz You are implying that I put some planning into this LOL. I totally built this by eye. It would have been smart to create a template for it. I guess I could try and do that at some point.

  • So amazing. Once again lol.

  • @kidkonglul I hope to make it better, thanks

  • verry nice work :)

  • @GirlPainting Thanks!

  • mate there are alot of terrain builds going on at the mo on you tube but i gotta say this is the bst ive seen so far wa i mean it clean looking and looks pro built excellent work buddy.big thumbs up frm me

  • @utrinque3NDparatus Thanks for the kind words. I have seen a lot of those projects and I wouldn't claim to be better, but I appreciate that. You are too kind.

  • Looks great! Keep it up.

  • @Dac198929 I hope to get started on the next one soon.

  • Amazing work!!

  • @ThunderfireMac Appreciate that

  • friggin epic!

  • @eveplayer12 Thanks!

  • Looks awesome, really good work, the pre shading tecnique will work great on it.

  • @Ryder40k I hope so man, thanks!

  • I just jizzed!!!

  • @adamh1399 ROFLMAO!!!!!!!

  • What's the next one!?

  • @Aetos325 I am thinking the Armoury... or the Marine Barracks... I also want to do a few power generators.

  • @Shiznaft1 You should do a real time DoW

  • @Aetos325 I thought about that, I think once I have the buildings done I will do something like that. Thanks for the idea.

  • @Shiznaft1 Welcome.

  • oh man... that is epic, one day ill have to ask you to commision me one (when i get some money that is =S).... btw did u ask ren about joinin the fluff?

  • @space197 I would be glad to, but it is a lot of hours LOL... I haven't had a chance to ask him.

  • u r brillant at this sort of stuff im thinking of making a differt version of a bastion and warhammer fantery secery good job

  • @warhammer40kRJ Thanks! You should make it.

  • Nice Done / snyggt jobbat

  • @Asken96 Tack!

  • Looks incredible! this makes me wanna build some terrain!!!!

  • @minitzonthesun Dude, you should. Judging by what I has seen from you already this would be nothing for you to create.

  • yeah I agree much better than the GW fortress

  • @wargamesanorak Thanks

  • Really nice. Way better than GWs fortress, low to the ground and looks line it can take some incomming fire. You captured the SM look very well to.

  • @Kriegfreak I wish I could take credit for the design. It comes from the Dawn of War PC game. If you knew that already, sorry. I just didn't want anyone thinking that I was taking credit for someone else's design.

  • Yes, very impressive bud.

  • @MarneusAugustaCalgar thanks Marneus!

  • looking bloody sharp Shiznaft ... awesome job on that piece - the time and attention to detail is evident! An airbrush on that will really do it justice!

  • @RubbishInRubbishOut Thanks, but it pales next to the Dystopia (masterpiece) water table you guys just turned out.

  • Looks very cool mate! What a ton of detail. The shape has always been so cool and intriguing and it is really nice to see all the detail bulking it out. It totally stands up, grats on completing and the first vid of the year!

  • @asjarra Thanks. I have always like that building, I just had no idea how to transfer it to the table.

  • now THAT is a nice scratch-buld RIGHT there. I love it

  • @Kanvass1 You honor me. I have seen the quality of your plastic card work so that means a lot. Thanks.

  • Wow that's nice. I especially like the pipe detail on top

  • @Da40kOrks Thanks, I really wanted that to shine. It seemed important since it was such a long and low building.

  • Fantastic matey, its come a long way! As I said to Renzero, I feel like I'm cheating myself by using GW parts to build my stuff and not scratch building it! Again fantastic!

  • @TemplarsCrusade01 That means a lot coming from someone of your ability. No, you are doing an awesome job with the GW part. Unfortunately the Dawn of War buildings don't look enough like standard GW stuff to allow me to use off the shelf... or believe me I would. LOL

  • looks killer ! Happy New Year !!! thank you for all your videos.keep it Kool and real peace!

  • @DEMONJESTERJ Thanks, and thank you for watching.
