  • ===ENGLISH translation===

    by CCA graduate

  • Ingredients:

    -Decoration sponge no.6 (plain type) *** 1plate

    -Strawberry *** 20pieces

    -Syrup; boiling water(Tbs4), granulated sugar(Tbs2), brandy or whisky(Tbs1)

    -Heavy whipping cream *** 400g(that is about 1 3/4 cup)

    -Granulated sugar *** Tbs 4

    -wine(spirits like brandy or whisky)(only if you like)

  • Prep:

    -Bowl(L.M.S)

    -Plate(flat surface 1)

    -Whisk

    -Pallet Knife, Bread Knife, Pate Knife, Mesuring spoon, spatula(sillicon), brush, pastry bag, decorator tip.

  • Making Syrup:

    -Put sugar into boiled water, mix till dissolve

    -Cool the mixture till body temp. mix in the brandy, stir well.

    Whipped cream:

    -Put heavy cream, sugar, and brandy into the mixing bowl. Whisk well until it stands.

  • (to check the right standing point, gently scoop the whisk out, and see if edge of the cream will stand slightly) (*tip by me, it says to whisk 80% of the full standing point by hand, but since i know most of you has the electronic mixer, becareful not to over whisk, over whisking breaks the cream, and will not stand properly. try comparing with ur mixture with this video if you are not sure :))

    -put 1/4 of the whipped cream into smaller bowl, whisk till it is at 90% of the full standing point.

  • Preparation for the Decoration Sponge cake:

    -flip the top side of the DecoSponge, and cut the very top of browned part.(*tip by me, eat it if u dunn want to throw it away)

  • making the cake:(from here, you can pretty much tell what is going on by watching the clip, so ill juss jot through what u might miss)

    -put syrup on top of the bottom layer, and both side of the top layer.

    -put 90% whipped cream on middle layer (leave 1/3 for after puttin on the strawberries)

    -try not to put air in when spreading whipped cream on top of the strawberries.

  • @salesgirl24 You probably already got the answer to this, but the frosting is mostly likely Heavy Cream (which you can get at the supermarket) that you whip and add sugar to taste. :3
