Also he will not train in The U.S. for that fight. So the USADA most likely won't do the testing. He will train in the Phillippines only for that fight. Now ask yourself why all of these conditions ? Why not let the USADA wich is the recognised body by U.S. Congress to test in the U.S.?

Also he will not train in The U.S. for that fight. So the USADA most likely won't do the testing. He will train in the Phillippines only for that fight. Now ask yourself why all of these conditions ? Why not let the USADA wich is the recognised body by U.S. Congress to test in the U.S.?

Pacquiao was inspired by Bruce Lee. Atleast when it came to Lee's puzzling speed and elusive/dazzling footwork ability. You can see he bases alot of it from Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee's fighting style) and tweaks it to fit a more boxing-styled approach.
I always wondered if Pacquiao knows how to kick or understands the mechanics of kicking.

@ SouthFultonClick We have been following he's career ever since he was young, as Manny back then was already competing at an early age and most of his fights were being televised here on local TV.
And Manny was already a crowd favorite whenever he fights due to his aggressive style but he lacked polishing back then that Freddie Roach was able develop him later on.
Manny only has boxing experience but you're right.. that doesn't mean he can't crossover to another sport, because IMO... he can.

I love the way Manny Pacquiao fights, always reminds me of Bruce lees punches and movement, love that he took his inpirations from bruce and respected his art and way of fighting, cause after all we are talking about Bruce lee, he is like the role model for so many athletes/martial artists and so on, we have to forever remember him and respect the man for what he gave us in his short life,
He was more than jsut a martial artist, i think there was nothing in this world that the man couldnt do.

Manny Pacquiao is an athlete and tournament fighter in boxing.
Bruce lee was a phenomenon in this world, he was a teacher,a philosopher/thinker,wise was he,
And he studied and learnd almost some of the biggest martial art forms and created a philosophy of it or so called Tao of Jeet kune do, and oh i forgot he was like a perfectionist,and a hell of an actor.
He was also an inventor,he invented training machines,and was not an ordinary man,he was like the greatest streetfighter ever.

And was a hell of a boxer, if you gave him 1 month just training for a boxing match vs Manny, i think he would have ate him up! no offence i'mma big fan of Manny,
Bruce trained every muscle on his body, his forarms wore enormous.
He was a phnomenon.
Plus Bruce is Mannys idol.:)
I amaze that he respect and admire Brucee, and that he shows us some of Bruce lee movements in the ring.

But i don't blame you, your probably just young and dumb. when you grow older, you'll realise what is real and fake.

@2pacslimshady I'm just stating the obvious fact that nobody in the world who isn't a top level Boxer can train one month in boxing and beat Manny Pacquiao. Bruce Lee was a great martial artist and teacher. He influenced generations of people including me with just being himself. I've read up on Bruce Lee and bought his movies, documentaries and posters. So I know enough about him to be a big fan.

If Bruce Lee had been boxing since he was five years old and been through the amateur and pro ranks then yeah, its possible that he would of beaten manny. no one without a real solid boxing background can go into boxing and become champion.

@LNwolf87 Actually Bruce was an amateur boxer as a kid in Hong Kong. On top of that, when he began to develop Jeet Kune Do, he studied all of Muhammad Ali's fights. He had film reels of all of Ali's fights. Now could Bruce in his prime beat Manny in a straight up Queensbury rules boxing match? (shrug)
