  • great tune...rounded up 160+ classics and todays bangers on my channel u will find em all..happy hunting

  • snivil eye say shun

    ..get it?

  • nice love the selectro? street vibe

  • This album is weird form the covers to the last track but I love it.

  • They can get down on their trax in a way that is rare. I love it cuz it is far from anything else than most can produce. This is such a unique sound and it has such an awesome beat to it and when 2:32 hits they really make it sound sik. I will always love their musik. I listened to this so much that I would dream it in my sleep. Those boys got soul!!

  • Really what is the point of this somebody explain to me why this is classified as good "music"

  • @progrocker69 I need no pity only good classic music like Metallica for instance because all this is is random noises

  • It's almost as confusing as dubstep

  • 0.0 this isn't Metallica I don't understand the point of this

  • @15danwhi Well then, I guess I ain't gonna waste my pity on you.

  • Why is Snivilisation not on itunes?? Where can i get it??

  • FFS i can't stop listeneing to this song!!! It's ok tho i <3 it :)))

  • What a rip. No Metallica?!?! This song sucks! No melody man.

  • @Krazyjesus uhm if the video is titled "orbital - sad but true" it should be pretty obvious that it isn't sad but true by metallica, but i guess thats way out your perception.

  • @Krazyjesus MASSIVE RYTHMIC PERCUSSION.

  • One of my all time Orbital favourites ...

  • I'd definitely say Orbital's music falls in to the country and western genre.

  • My favourite tune of the album for a long time!

And to clarify for the new kidz: this is ORBITAL! Just like there is FSOL and ORB - this is ORBITAL! All three were the sacred trio of the 90s. And then there were Prodigy, Underworld, Leftfield and everybody else.

  • Ok you might as well say it's IDM electronic genre style too

  • Genre: Electronic

    styles: Leftfield, Techno, Downtempo, Experimental

  • THE MOST IMPORTANT ALBUM OF ALL MODERN ERA OF ELECTRONIC SOUND AT ALL ☝

  • holy fucking moly! WHAT a tune! i cannot belive i have not heard this one before! Awsome absolut!

  • really cool music, found this by chance, what genre would this be? not that i care much but i want to label it on itunes, thanks

  • @Tekn0Lov3r On wikipedia it says, that Orbital falls under the genres: Techno, Ambient Techno, House and Rave. I would go for Ambient Techno or Dance :)

  • @Angrahius thank you, i guessed ambient because it sounded like aphex twin ^^

  • @Angrahius or just good tunes. genre means nothing.

  • @Angrahius It's techno. Which doesn't really exist any more in this form, but it's pretty special. The beat becomes hypnotic, as the only unchangeable layer it supports whatever goes above it..

  • @Tekn0Lov3r Well, fuckin' hooray for youTunes! I guess it's still ok if you're 15 years old or something ;)

  • @Tekn0Lov3r Ambient Techno.

  • @Tekn0Lov3r or break beat

  • @Tekn0Lov3r who cares what genre this is..when you break it down really there s only 2 types of music..good and bad... :D

  • @Tekn0Lov3r No `Genre`, sorry...Just Original. Enjoy! Be Well X:0

  • @Tekn0Lov3r Electronica

  • @Tekn0Lov3r if you listened to all that techno I did in the 90s then youll find that Orbital have their own genre ;)

  • @Tekn0Lov3r Electronica.

  • "Musicology, Audiology, Music History with Connections to Pyschology, Sociology and Philosophy

    Chapter 1: Caveman Riddim

    Chapter 2: The Church

    Chapter 3: Freedom of Music

    Chapter 4: Swing, swing!

    Chapter 5: Snivilisation

    Chapter 6: Ethnocide"

    I swear, I'll write it!

  • Timeless. Totally stands up to repeated listens over many, many, many years. This album kept me grounded when studying neurobiology in college. Gorgeous.

  • This album + magic mushrooms = a new found reality:)

  • boommm..amazing tune....hehehe

  • I want certain aspects of the early nineties to come back...like music like this and the animated Aeon Flux series. :-D

  • OMG I remember listening to this album the day I got my first period... yeah... nice...

  • @yoyo5678x me too ...and im a guy but it was a bleeding good album............a room of silence and astonished faces looked back at the poor mans comedian!

  • @stopgettingshatonnow hahahaha lol!

  • How do you say: this melody gives me the goose bumps and I fucking like it in just one word?

  • @idtizu In one word? I'd say: PERFECT

  • to recall..orbital were amazing beatsound sculpture makers with GOLDFRAPP sounding in on this one----

  • i was blind, but now i see!!!!

  • Blew the drive units on my B&O speakers playing this at a house party once, turned the bass dial up full and turned the treble dial to zero so it made everything vibrate, the drive cones ripped and the next day i got a visit from the police and my neighbours, i showed them the wrecked speakers and said how sorry i was and got away scot free, i was only mortified 'cos i had inherited the speakers and it turned out they were worth a bit and also they looked and sounded beautiful.

  • Wow, it's been a long time. This brings me back... i can't believe i actually almost forgot about this album... i always think of the first 2 and insides... maybe lush... but somehow i forgot this one, and now i remember how great it is... thanks!!! i feel like i'm in high school again... driving around after school listening to this, fsol, tricky, hardfloor, goldie, the orb, etc...

  • this brings back memories....always got into this song....these guys started me on my electronic music journey...

  • init ::DD

  • it sound like a love story between an energy beam and woman singing ^^

  • Music from "Johny Mnemonnic"!

  • im usually a metalhead but i love this stuff as well

  • Snivilisation is one of Orbitals most forward thinking and musically mature albums... way ahead of it's time and incredibly trippy :)

Been listening to them since 95 and they never grow old :)

  • This is incredible stuff.. masterfully put together.

  • Bought Snivilisation at manchester airport on our way to Ibiza back in 94. This track became the soundtrack to my summer. Its got the hairs on my arms standing on end and i'm sitting here stone cold sober.

  • Yeah, the first time I listened to this, I was a little partial to it. But when I came back, just knowing that I saw thatstick figure with the walkman, it really blew me away. The amount of expertise to make a song like this is beyond most electric music, hell, any music. I would've never found it if you hadn't put it on Youtube, so thanks, man!

  • @SourPuddle You're quite welcome, and thank you for your comment :D

  • If you would like this song, listen up to "Hearts and Minds", Maxi-Version! The Boygroup this song sung is called "NITZER EBB"

    Enjoy 1st listening!

  • The beginning of this song is incredible.

  • 1:00 holy shit! i LOVE that noise!

  • Hello, I am from the Insurence Federal Marine. I have a warrant here, you can not give cookies ANYWORE

  • A personal favourite from the duo!

16 years later it still impresses me...

  • chemical brothers not fit 2 sniff orbitals pants.have u heard their latest tune.total ripoff of orbital.

  • Snivilisation and Insides are their 2 best albums. I was listening to to Insides in my office today...and thought of this song, and the entire album. Too many good memories from the 90's (my 20's) while listening it. Great group, great album, great song, awesome decade. Thanks for posting.

  • This has got to be one of the greatest songs in history. You can't help but move.

  • Orbital make intellectual music

  • @Pimedev - Definitely. And it's hard to relay Orbital to the newest generation of electronic kids..

  • Damn that s amazing!! Now i am 22 years old, i listened to this sound when i was 7 years old, cause my brother had this sound everywhere including the cover!!=) good old times=)

i could never imagine what snivilisation should mean=)

    so cool!!!

thank you for my nostalgic and beautiful timetravel into the childhood!!

  • Still one of the most bizzare and hard-to-understand albums of all times, but always amazing, like Orbital will always be. And this song is awesome!

  • this song is amazing!!!! love love love xxxxxx

  • I remember back in the 94 when I bought this out of curiosity. It was one of the best electronic albums from start to finish that I had ever heard. It is still in heavy rotation on my player to this day.

  • Timeless. The first and final part are made of disagreeable sounds for a reason! Is a statement of a mechanical & nightmarish modern world, Goldfrapp beautiful voice in the middle made a sweet contrast. Humanity vs machine.

  • Mala shkola Velikih Majstora Elektronske Glazbe : ))))

  • great song to run to as well. and by run i mean actually run, not lay on my couch stoned out of my mind thinking a glass of orange juice is after me.

  • no you do that after the run.

  • @breaker0021

Haha i listen to this song on my jogs alll the time! Such a good song.

  • great angry sex music!

  • Orbital = Masters of Sound !

  • Fuck yes.

And AMEN to the man who mentioned smashing the chinswingers to this.

    I did such a thing.

In the top 10 of tunes ever made, I would say.

  • wow tune !!!

    goose bump at 2.34

  • if you'd never dropped a pill would this be the same? my wife says no. I love it.

  • yes, i loved this when i was 13, long before i knew of any pill. the love stays the same.

  • i just noticed a sample from the drum roll at the beginning of 'Spin Doctors - Two Princes'

i'm all pleased with myself :D

  • Noice

  • nicely spotted. i'm goig to cut it up aswell.

  • What a tune, transports one to another place, no war, no hate just movement, dance and happiness. Dangerous in fact cos it can lead to living in fantasy. Reality is we have to remove the criminal bankers from their robbery, creation of war and making us all into the indebted slaves.

  • dude, its just music.

  • mmm ok ...

  • This all came from the slavery of the time, my friend.

I understand your words, and I love what you are saying.

    Peace, and more peace.

    Love.

  • fucking classic

  • It's not awful, it's an awesome song. How dare you are?! I don't agree with you! You have called it 'shit'. This is one of my favourite music, and it's not shit!!!!

  • Well, sorry to offend you. But, that's just my opinion.

  • A simply brilliant song.

Love the beat, the synth lines, the vocals, just awesome. I've probably put 100 views on this song alone.

  • I post copy :- massmouth (1 month ago) Best Orbital Album by far. Classic

  • I love it when Goldfrapp starts singing Orbital are brilliant they pack so much emotion into their music :D

  • Best Orbital Album by far. Classic

  • classic tune, funny comments regarding Metallica lol slight difference here

  • I started listening to Metallica in 1993, the black album is the best album I've ever bought. Metallica are amazing. I started listening to Orbital in 1996, and snivilisation is fucking amazing too. At first I couldn't get into it, and it wasn't music to me, but after a few months I got it. And this tune is fucking amazing. You gotta open your horizons !D

  • @iris030380 Lol dude i was thinking about Metallica when i seen the title of Orbital video and weirdly you have bringed up Metallica :D xD

  • this shit is atcherlly fucking beast ...

  • ORB is English. By the way, it's so sad, that some people are straight racists... couse like european techno... heh...

  • Metallica XD

  • TRIP HOP!

  • @tomatotrix not really...

  • idk wat genre this falls in, but its sick

  • this song is perfect.... thanks for upload... brings back memories......

  • genius

  • wtf

  • actually after four minutes the song goes back to mechanical and kind of blows

  • keep listening..

  • my favorite thx man good quality :)))00

  • No problem at all ^^

  • I don't know if the first part is terrible, but it's mechanical and then you get this humanity in there. great music always builds up a little, doesn't just shoot you straight into the main melody.

  • The "mechanical" part is like a huge intro, and as u said, it builds up. That's why i like this song so much :D

Thx for ur reply *gives cookie*

  • I'd rather have a Jeff Goldblum wafer.

  • Yeah, they play something that sounds awful followed by something soooooo melodic. The awful makes the melodic sound better.

  • threw me into a weird trance there.

  • You're a legend for putting this tune up. Snivilisation is a weird and bizarre piece of music on the whole for me. But everytime I've listened to it over the years, this tune never fails to blow my mind. The breakdown is so full of emotion.

    Sad But True indeed.

  • Thank you for your kind comment ^^ This song IS really mind-blowing :-)

  • Where can i get a copy?

  • You can always ask ur local music store, or just download it via some programs :)

  • There is a different version in some of the European editions of the in sides LP, which is very good.

  • there's only one sad but true for me,

    metallica's!! hell yeah

p.s I'm not saying this song sucks so if i'm getting negative feedback you stupid buttholes can kiss my ass!

  • Ha! Yay! Finally! A la votre! Welcome to England, this is one of the best...

  • thanks! i love alison with orbital -- pure joy.

  • I love this song, i used it for my gcse dance exam. It's really a funky track

  • love love love this track! wore it out back then!!
