  • jesus christ some of you people really need your ass kicked.

  • Her brilliance is very sexy.

  • she does look like a pig...imagine someone actually fucks her...but I love these lectures

  • hey is there anyone please tell me WHAT was there before bigbang or creation of universe...?

  • @cfei12 No one knows.

  • Pretty good talk. However, the title is very misleading. Where is the symmetry, extra dimensions, etc. Its really about how the LHC collects and analyzes information.

  • I never understood why some people, no matter what subject, will say: "She/He is ugly." ...like we give a fuck oO It's like with musicians for example "He's a great guitarist." "Yes but he's ugly." "So what?!"

Anyway, great stuff! I didn't get it all obviously, but it really helps understanding what the CERN is about and how much work both for research and to make research possible is put into this. Amazing!

  • Wow...could this experiment kinda'of like a doorbell in the next dimension to it's people and rather like an SOS signal; Help us with Physics! PlZZzzz.

  • THESE ARE SPECTACULAR VIDEOS. THANKS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT OF BECOMING EDUCATED ABOUT THE UNIVERSE.

  • This may be totaly ridiculous and off the wall and perhaps I misunderstood, so will anyone reading this tell me if this idea has any merit? Did she say that the rate of storage was an issue? I am reminded of a science fiction story where an extreemly large amount of data needed to be saved but there was nothing large enough to store it on so space itself was used, That is a streem of data was sent to a return relay satellites a long ways away. That may help in selecting events to look at.

  • how to post long video other that 10 or 15 mins

  • she looks like a naked mowl !

  • She's as ugly as she's smart.

  • @GShock112 shes better lookin than your mother

  • @takeyourpillz and his mother is also a whore!

  • AHAHAHAHA at the very start instead of "and it is" i heard "and you smoke weed" in an australian accent

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • too bad the SSC (superconductive super collider) didnt go forward, it would create 40TeV collisions, almost the tripple of the LHC (14 TeV max)

  • can you simplify.....

  • Its amazing, the accelarator & detector technologies are fantastic. Its the processing technology that's the bottleneck. There's so much data generated, its quite possible that it will take years to find significant events that may have been created at the time of the early collisions, unless we get lucky.

  • Me: Man even her jokes are WAY above my head...

    Youtubers: What jokes?

    Me: LOL!

  • Oh No! Another Big Bang myth.

Leave it to Google to present dark-ages ideas.

The Big Bang never happened, the universe is finite in time but not infinite in space.

  • @seanmPWH how many phd you got ,i bet you are a high school drop out

  • I'm going with the extra-dimensional hypothesis, and super-symmetry. They will NOT find the Higgs and you can quote me on that...

  • She is a great speaker. She makes me understand the stuff with ease!

  • God you're a smart lady...

  • I think, the Leslie Winkle character from the Big Bang Theory was based on this woman's life. Very informative presentation, most of this stuff went over my head. Nevertheless, I have enjoyed it greatly.

  • I don't know about that but I was thinking I knew her from somewhere and that's it, she kinda looks and sounds like Lesley Winkle!

  • maybe women should do the science since they talk so much faster ,guys I don't have a problem with her speech,Guys just stutter and will left half of their talk out since they just do

  • @Qulopuaa that's Ok as long as woman don't vote.

  • What's her name?

  • Bad audio

  • I think it's very clear...

  • @jorgekluney so you could do better

  • @robertmck12 You bet your sweet ass, pilgrim.

  • Very interesting. The blackholes part has just been hyped up by the media. There is every chance of blackholes being created during the experiment, but these are not the same as the big ones at the astrophysics level. These will just decay and vanish within less than a billionth of a second. No chance of affecting us as they are very very very tiny and do not have enough matter/energy in their vicinity to swallow and grow bigger or become stable. relax people these wont eat up the earth planet.

  • @talhalateef i think the chance of a catastrophic blackhole event is 1 in 50 million if not impossible

  • I love this stuff, so interesting!

  • Ya, seriously guys. She's talking about what could turn out to be the most important discovery in the history of humanity and you're making miss piggy comments! Personally, I think the woman is amazing.

  • @jsperess What do you expect from this dumb as generation.

  • @jsperess Now the question is, would you lie with this women or not?

  • @Imonlyhereforcookies hell yes

  • @jsperess this woman is really really good.those people who r making miss piggy jokes are juvenile idiots!!

  • I'm not being tested on this am i? Lol. Fascinating.

Strings and infinate dimensions may be proved!

What a possible breakthrough in particle physics!

  • Here we have talk about potentially the most important scientific breakthrough maybe in 100 years and probably the best presentation of it so far, and some people here manage to comment on accents, looks and audio being out of sync... that is quite puzzling :(

  • the visual and audio are out of sync.lol. at least in the begining. havent watched all of it yet.

  • its the best 'carrier wave' for the information that you receive.
