Lovely film of halcyon times . But now the Viking funeral is far too ...um...gentile. Which in our times of z10worship is a NO NO !

I can't watch this movie with that really bad plinkerty plink soundtrack added. I'll wait till it's remasterd, with a soundtrack worthy of this terrific story. (if ever), or just watch the 1939 Gary Cooper version, as from this clip, it seems to be a frame by frame remake only with talking.

I couldn´t agree more. You are so right ! This awful plinkerty plink soundtrack is an impertinence and THIS film has deserved MUCH MORE !!!!!!

I've been wanting to see this version for the longest time. Colman is a favorite of mine. I really appreciate the translations. Thanks for posting.
