This is how true love happens in the city, among us poor people. When it breaks through all the smothering heartlessness and coldness it shines like a diamond in the mud. It provides a counter balance to the coldness and then life goes forward once again. Too bad I live in the suburbs where there is little humility, my last girlfriend was self willed and could not understand how you could need anyone because contentment was practicaly free for the taking. She was mean when it came to trusting.
Love the crackling noise from the background (LP) soundtrack! Would be enjoyable if you could mix the audio tract with the music. Sensitive editing, not jarring!
Probably the most beautiful love story ever. Rocky and Adrian are my favorite cinema couple, and always will be. The apartment scene is one of the most romantic scenes I have ever seen in a movie.
