Last time I've had a relaxer was in July 2009, after that I decided to transition because I didnt had the time to waste at the hair salon anymore (and the money). So I wore weaves and wigs, in the meantime I did my BC but never had the confidence to take off my wig. Last sunday night, I decided to give it a try. Monday morning I woke up late for work and went in with my afro. EVERYBODY LOVED IT. I had lots of feedback. I love that doing my hair in the morning is MUCH faster now. (im @SimplyKC)

I am in my 7th year of an on & off journey, with 3 years without a BC. I love the fact that my naturral hair give me freedom.When I walk out the house with the fro or twist and get the looks ... some good, some bad... I feel comfortable, and it is attention getting simply because I'm the fro in a sea of weave and permed hair.. and I like being a little different.

Great contest. I've been natural for about a decade now - I can't believe how time flies - lol One of the reasons why I love being natural is that I can over-sleep, be rushing around the house looking for something to wear, and at the last final minute before rushing out the door for work - just throw a headband or hair clip on my head and my hair is 'done'. :o)

I just celebrated my first year of being natural. What I love the most about it? It's versatility. I can rock a big afro, a curly wash-n-go, some juicy two strand twists, a sexy and elegant updo, a fro-hawk, really any style I want. There's so much freedom with natural hair.

I've been natural for 1 week + 2 days now and what I love so far is accessorizing. For some reason, when I had long, relaxed hair, I never thought to accessorize but now I can't pass up a good hair accessory whenever I go out somewhere.

I am 5 months completely natural. I started my journey March 27, 2009. I transitioned from March 27, 2009 to January 1, 2010, I then chopped off all my relaxed in. So today I am 5 months 13 days completely natural and I am loving it. I love being natural it is the true me and my kinks

awesome bangle- My last relaxer was OCT 2009, and I BC'ed in Apr 2010, so I am 8 months natural... The thing I love about being natural is the deep sense of beauty it gives me everyday. I never knew I could love my hair so much!

i have been natural for 25 years then i went and did something crazy last year and permed my hair dont know why i did so then i shaved my hair off i now have 2 inches of hair i love my hair short it feels good under my wigs i wear my natural hair and sometimes i out on my wigs i love love natural hair because u can wear it in more styles then u can straight u can color it and not worry to much about damages u can go from natural to straight and back again the styles u can achieve are endless
