Not only are you right...But look at M's Cha action, horrible walks...the technique is quite clipped, no 8 action on the locks. Quite sad really that couples with technique, power and speed still do not get the votes. We are almost in 2010 and still couples have to trade, "Coaching for Marks"... When will the dance world mature, and start valuing our dancers as athletes and mark them appropriately?
I like Yulia and Riccardo. They are very charismatic. They have the fluidity and Yulia is so sexy! It wont be long now and I'm sure they will beat M&J. Very soon!

They won Rumba in a competition in Asian tour as well. I follow all dance news and it seems you need to update news yourself. I did not say they took 2 dances from M&J in UK. I said one by one. Why M&J is generally better than R&Y? For me the gap between these couples are so close and I don't see M&J have to win all competitions.
I agree why is Michael and Joanna generally better than Ricardo and Yulia. and pesonally I think R&Y danced exceptionally well in the Rumba that night. I though that they should have won the rumba as well.

It's very close so I guess it won't be easy for Ricaro and yulia to beat michael and joanna overall. But I think it's possible for them.
I agree. I like both of couples, and I think that would be interesting if R&Y won next "World", just because we'll have change of champions (what we hadn't more than 20 years), and also it wold make both of couples to show unbelieveble new quality in 2 years :);):)
Well, slowly R&Y has been taken over one by one from M&J. First was Jive and the second was Rumba. One more, they will beat the world champion and become a new champion. Then, Joanna probably decide to change her partner. Joanna is too good to be the second.
Riccardo and Yulia are superior dancers. No one can match their speed in their connection and energy-flow through the partnership--as well as innovation in choreography. They haven't won first yet for purely political reasons.

ungite yes you have a point in my humble opinion they should have already beaten michael and joanna but considering objectivity of this sport this will never happen the only one who can actually take 1st from them is slavik if he finds right partner if he doesnt michael will be first until he retire
I was never into Slavik's dancing, but I start to like his dancing. Of course my favorite will always be Bryan, but he's gone. My vote goes to Slavik in Blackpool this year. Go slavik!!!

Actually Riccardo & Yulia are comming closer and closer to Michael & Joanna as the time goes by, it's possible that they will cach them very soon because Riccardo & Yulia won the jive and also were placed as 1st by some jugdes, so I think Riccardo & Yulia could be the only true competitors to Michael & Jooanna

R&Y didnt won the rumba, they won only jive look the results in dance news.
What politic have M&J? I think R&Y have biger. M&J are general better than R&Y this is all.

judges probably wont give Riccardo & Yulia a first place until Mich and Joanna retire or pass away in a mysterious accident planned by myself....
dance politics can really make a competition boring as you know that the top results never change regardless of performance on the day...
