Hmmm....I must have been abducted by aliens around the time they got together for the new band. I never heard anything about it.Despite regularly checking. I was gutted when `The Darkness` split and was lookin forward to the the reincarnation. However, I am disappointed with the new stuff. Not as memorable as `The Darkness`. It is not bad, but it could be any number of bands. Before some ppl become offended by my comments...everyone is allowed an opinion. So there!!

Yeah, you may have a point about LOG. The more I listen to them the less I like it. I really do like a band called "Breaking Benjamin" though, been listening to them a lot lately.

I just don't find anything that enjoyable about stone gods, but to each his own.

this video does not do the stone gods justice to their live performance, which i saw on sunday night, i actually prefer these compared to the darkness, a lot more variety in music from metal to acoustic rock.

To all those proclaiming the Stone Gods suck, try listening to something they've recorded professionally. Burn the Witch, Magdalene Street and You Brought a Knife are all excelent and diverse songs.

Saw Stone Gods the other night supporting Thunder at Norwich UEA. Really nice sound, although far too many guitar changes for me.... like nearly every song. Lead singer can certainly belt them out but I found him a bit "screamy" after a while. Nice chunky sound though

i thought it was heavy and raw at first, but when i listened again, it was bloody awesome. audio may not be the best but you can hear the song is polished and quite intricate in the harmony structure. fucking awesome. cant wait for the album.
