Yep i try 2. i also enjoy the history of firearms and such as well as real guns not just airsoft stuff so i try to make parts of airsoft reviews usefull for both
Nope he didnt hate it cause of it was stamped metal. He didnt think the cartridge would be effective and the Germany military's resources were starting to get scarce, he thought this would make logistics much harder
@lepordgekomaster It depends what your playing: if your playing cqb then the thompson is your gun if your playing woodland (mid-range) then the famas if your playing on like big open feilds then this is basically a sniper on steroids (almost 450 fps!!!). Btw that fps is the stock gun only not including spring upgrades some people like to put into their AEGs
@lepordgekomaster if you havent already made your mind up, i reccomend getting the cybergun thompson, its more comfortable to hold, it has better power and the rate of fire is roughly the same. hope my advice helps :D
although german weaponry was superior to soviet weapons (except when it came to the ППШ or PPSh, which was outweighed by meager supplies) it was really hitler not listening to his generals that lost the war for the Reich. had he listened to them, i'd be speaking german now. or not at all.
some what true on the sights. The Mosin Nagant and Mauser have the same sights as well but i said AK style because thats what most ppl think of when they see those sights
and AK style...its the STG style...the germans made that type of sight, the AK wasnt developed untill 1946, the first production models were not untill 1947 hence the name
sturmgewehr dosent mean assault rifle it means storm rifle it was made for stormtroopers and when hitler first saw the mp44 he hated it but they built it anyway because it was so good
The handgaurd/foregrip tends to snap off and is now pretty loose on mine. Especially if you try to hold it vertically. How can you fix that or is there a special reason why it comes off?
Hey, nice review, very informative! I *hope* I'll be getting the all wood version in a week or two in the mail. I didn't know it didn't have a fuse before now, so that's nice to know (Even though I'd probably inspect her as soon as she arrives). I absolutely HATE hi-caps too, they suck! Not only do you have to wind it continuously, but the damn rattling sound 1) can give your position away 2) is so damn annoying!!!
yeah, that may be easy for an M16, but there are not any mags that are similar to the MP44. I thought of custom making a midcap from a MAG AK47/74 midcap, but I don't think I could make it work. So unless they release a midcap, or at least a lowcap for this, the coolest gun from (next to German MGs, but those are too expensive) WWII, it looks like I'll be getting an AGM MP40 for my WWII German impression.
...Why not just fill it up, wind it, then pour the rest of the BBs into ... where ever you keep your BBs? I don't get why highcaps are such a big probelm. Just fill them, wind them, pour the remains out, and boom!
I hate hi-caps too. If I can open up a hi-cap, I'll just fill up with joint filler! :) Hey, what about that? What would the even-hosters say about that? To me it seems like a decent solution. lol
no organaly was called stg 44 did a history check up on it cuz i might get it stg stands for one word but i forgot it and this is where kalasinkov got the ak 47 this gun is the father of the ak 47
im selling my full metal agm hk 416 with a $50 scope setup, and 10000 bb's just to get the real wood and metal version of this gun. its an awesome gun.
thank god you know that the AK and STG are completely different weapons, and the name of the site on it is called a tangent leaf but I am getting one of these soon as well I am very impressed with them

Even though this was the world's first AR, the Russians did invent the first modern assault rifle, the AK-47. The AK did fire a larger bullet.

It is also known as the MP43
Xadak1195 2 years ago
the mp43 was a prototype made before the '44, which was built with machined steel. the mp44/stg44 was stamped steel for ease of production.
same difference as the mp38 and the mp40, except the '38 was actually fielded, too.

Most WWII based games around here don't allow Hicaps. Plus I just hate them. Personal preference really.
