May HH Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Jetsun Lungrik Namgyal have a long life and work hard to preserve the precious Dharma of Lama Tsongkhapa, and help Shar Ganden to flourish.
How wonderful that this Ganden Trisur. has the courage to come out as a Dorje Shugden practitioner and has now moved from Ganden Shartse to the new Dorje Shugden monastery, Shar Ganden. May Je Tsongkhapas doctrine flourish !
I think HH Gaden Tri Rinpoche is amazing with his French! He has manifested his proficiency in language to spread the Dharma in France and he probably learnt it quite late in life. His effort and proficiency is amazing. I hope to have that level determination in order to benefit others.
Gaden Tri Rinpoche represents the highest authority for the Gelug/Yellow Hat tradition because his office is suppose to represent Lama Tsongkhapa while the office of Jangse Choje of Gaden Monastery is suppose to represent Gyaltsab Je and Sharpa Choje is suppose to represent Kedrub Je.
What a holy monk. I don't really know or understand the hierarchy but he looks good and speaks well and like a High Lama and he looks very alert despite his age. Its amazing for him to promote HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. He does have huge work awaiting for him.
I feel kind of sad that with such an authority like Gaden Tripa endorsing HE Tsem Tulku RInpoche's works and yet there are people still who doubt, say nasty things about Rinpoche. I guess it is human nature to be jealous. If only all of us practice the Dharma, it will survive longer...

You get the idea that His Holiness has spent his entire life for the benefit of others. And he has lived a life of benefit and great virtue in fact he was ordained at the age of eight years old.
His Holiness Gaden Tripa is the only one who can have the victory banner on top of him besides his Holiness the Dalai Lama I think he is the only person who can wear the yellow hat in the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
I think some of His Eminence books has forewords from His Holiness the Gaden Tripa , that is surely a clear approval and endorsement of His Eminences work in spreading the dharma.

You know what's the best way to thank His Holiness (and every kind lama who has educated and supported Rinpoche)? Hold our vows well, practise Guru Devotion, learn, study and practise the Dharma. As Rinpoche always says, he (and all other lamas) doesn't need praise, expensive gifts or whatever. All he and other lamas want is for us to be free from suffering. That's the best way we can thank our teachers for the effort and time they put into us, and the care and devotion that they show us :)
Oh but you're soooo right, we have been truly blessed to have Rinpoche in Malaysia! Of all the lamas who we've had the merit to meet, we got to meet a lama who speaks English! We really shouldn't waste this opportunity. We need to create the causes for Rinpoche to live long, so he can continue to teach the dharma...and spread to others all of the benefits that we have experienced from learning what little Dharma we know!

Did you guys hear of the previous Gaden Tri Rinpoche has passed away in meditation and remain in death meditation for a whole month! That means that the body didn't rot for a whole month. They are truly attained! There is a YouTube video somewhere about this.
Wow... that is truly amazing...! I heard that for some high lama, during their clear light meditation before actual passing away, they can indicate where their new incarnation will be... like the family name or the direction of the village, etc.
That's really cool! Something modern 'science' still cannot explain...and yet there are people who continue to accomplish this level of attainments by practicing an ancient wisdom. It is examples like this, and the benefit brought to others by accomplished beings like Tsem Rinpoche, that show us the power of Buddha's teachings.

H. E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche has great courage and great compassion and great Dharma heart. I think what H. H Gaden Tripa is saying is that Rinpoche is a a living Bodhisattva. He wants many to get contact with him so his benefit can spread out to many beings.

Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is really amazing. I heard that one of the Singapore Cell Groups founder members actually got to know Rinpoche from Youtube, and then later went to visit Kechara House in Malaysia. This shows how Tsem Tulku Rinpoches teachings are real and can really impact people.
You are talking about the Portuguese couple Miguel and Graca right? I read in the newsletter too. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche also gave them a set of beautiful Lama Tsongkhapa statues, plus other altar items.
Yes, I agree with you. I read in No More Caves, Kechara House newsletter, that there are people from foreign countries who watched Tsem Tulku Rinpoches youtube video, felt very inspired and flew all the way to Malaysia to attend the teachings.
Many people found Dharma in different ways e.g. reading Dharma books, went to temples and in this case by watching Youtube videos. Never underestimate how Dharma videos can bring impact and change to people Tsem Tulku Rinpoche really benefited many people
Kechara House people are really a bunch of hardworking people. They have various daily pujas at the centre from Monday to Thursday; and then on Friday and Sunday, they have studies courses like Lamrim class and Sunday Manjushri class. They also have a soup kitchen Kechara Soup Kitchen that goes out to distribute food 2 days in a week. I am sure these are all inspired by their spiritual guide Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.
I too learnt a lot of Dharma through Tsem Rinpoches videos on youtube and I totally disagree with those who criticises Tsem Rinpoche as I benefited a lot from his teachings. I agree with HH Gaden Tripa that Tsem Rinpoche is very kind, he even posted up these teachings for free on youtube.
It is true that many people have the chance to learn Dharma through Tsem Rinpoches videos on youtube. I personally have learnt a lot, not only from talks by Rinpoche, but also other videos of his students teaching or practising the Dharma. These are very wonderful videos. Please continue to post them.
I read from Tsem Tulku Rinpoches book, Gurus for Hire Enlightenment for Sale that Rinpoche personally discourages his students to be involved in politics and just focus on the spiritual part of Tibetan Buddhism. The book was launched in London and in the London Book Fair recently. It is a great book!
Dont worry. I don't think the rumours they created in the forum can cause any damage to Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's reputation among the high lamas and the respectable Sangha community. These people have too much time and instead of focusing on practice, they let the samsara side of themselves win.
I find that it is amazing how lay people who have no training, and do not hold their vows properly can criticize monks who have held their vows purely.
This video shows very clearly how the Gaden Tripa is highly respected in the Gelukpa monastic system. His endorsement is good to let those who created rumours to contemplate.
Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is really a gem as he is a Buddhist master who presents the essential practices of Buddhism in a contemporary way that is easy to understand and practise in modern everyday life. I really hope he can give more public teachings in the future!
The truth will always prevail and I can only say 2 things: 1. See how successful Tsem Tulku Rinpoches organisation is 2. See who are the people in REAL Buddhist authority (the abbot of Gaden Shartse monastery, HH Gaden Tripa etc) and what they say about Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. If this doesnt shut them up, then that means they think they are better than the abbot and Gaden Tripa.
Its sad that there are also many people who spread rumors against other Lamas, lineages and traditions as well. I dont understand why they spent so many hours criticising this and that instead of spending time to practice Buddhism.
I also find it amazing that people do not appreciate the sacrifices the geshes and gurus make while we are busy enjoying ourselves they have to spend so much time and energy learning the dharma.
Yes, I am very sad to read on forums that many criticises Tsem Tulku Rinpoche due to their own wrong view and These causes schisms in the Sangha just because they want people to accept their opinions. That is true. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is a real Lama because his conviction in the Dharma in the past and now has never changed even a bit and he only thinks about benefiting others through Dharma. You can see it through his many growing departments in his organisation.

I agree with HH Gaden Tripa that Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is very kind and also is still young, so he will be able to teach Dharma to many. Yes, there are tonnes of lamas out there that use different methods to teach or train their students. Remember, we are talking about breaking someones ego. And who are we to judge whether this method is ok or not? We are not attained ourselves so we shouldnt judge.

Tsem Rinpoche is doing an excellent job in spreading the Dharma not only through Malaysia but also the world by practicing and embodying what he preaches! Many Tibetan High Lamas are being exiled to different parts of the world. This is great as more people will gains benefits because they can learn Dharma from these highly attained lamas instead of relying on translators or books.

I do understand everyone concern here. I can say, they are not fortunate enough this life to listen to the Dharma and practise well, and what we can do is dedicate our prayers to them, so that next life they will able to listen to the Dharma and practise it.........
We should not act angry towards those critics, as i believe if Rinpoche heard those critics, Rinpoche will stay calm, and pray for them as well...........So please stay calm....the more you fight back, the more critics there are, and never ending story.....Hope everyone can practise that....

From time to time, I've heard some pretty nasty rumours about Tsem Rinpoche, but if the supreme head of the Gelugpa sect himself can sing praises for him, that means rumours are just..... rumors. That clearly means, most of what Rinpoche's doing in Malaysia is right. It is really depressing to know that some people have the audacity to criticize and spread false rumors about a lama who has done so much for so many.

I totally 100% agree! Rinpoche has already come so far since arriving in Malaysia in 1992 with nothing. Since then, through his compassion and hard work, he's been able to open a dharma centre and it has been filled with dedicated students. Now they have 12 departments, all looking to spread dharma in their own special ways...and they've got land for a retreat centre, and they want to build south Asia's largest Tsongkhapa statue!! I really really rejoice for the region!

a further note about the Gaden Tripas: they are changed every 5 years and they are voted by high lamas and the Sangha community. This tradition started with Lama Tsongkhapa who passed his hat and seat down to Kedrup Je who replaced Lama Tsongkhapa as the abbot of Gaden Monastery. When 5 years passed, he then passed it down to Gyaltsab Je and so the tradition continues. This lineage has been unbroken since then
he says that in order to get full benefit from the dharma full dedication is necessary and it does not mean that you have to give up your day job...just doing your commitments every day would be good enough and he is kind enough to choose commitments that dosent take up a lot of time to practice. bimbothroneholder: in truth, it is not important of his status or rank, but what he does. If he can bring benefit to so many people and he works so hard for the Dharma (he has endless meetings and sleepless nights just to help his students and solve problems), there is no doubt that he is a valid Rinpoche no matter what people say. Observing is always better than hearsay. Better not judge if you cant.
Also during the Nepal Pilgrimage, when the pilgrims visited a Nyigma temple, a very old Nyigma monk who was doing his retreats in a small and humble hut in the gompa came out specifically to request Rinpoche for his blessings and also that Rinpoche live long and may Rinpoche's activities spread in the 10 directions...if 1 master praises him, it's not too significant but if many are...there is definitely something to it
it's always easier and more fun to criticize someone but not easy to see their good points and aspire to be like them. It is easier to forget that Dharma practice is about aspiring for someone's good qualities rather than putting people down based on their bad qualities in the long run. People who like to put down others for whatever reason will go down and fail in life because they never did anything positive

All the High Lamas, whenever they see Tsem Rinpoche, they never fail to give him a blessing. When Dzongzar Khyentse Rinpoche came to malaysia, Rinpoche met him and DKR requested Tsem Rinpoche to bless him instead! That is definitely something you dont see happening everyday...DKR is a highly recognized Lama from the Nyigma tradition and he sees Rinpoche in high regard...it shows that Tsem Rinpoche is highly attained..

I agree that most Buddhist forums are a good place to learn about Buddhism but some can be very misleading. They claim to be valid, non-sectarian and knowledgeable when they are in actuality very biased and ignorant about other lineages. They do not hesitate to spread misinformation or even try to get their facts straight before telling it to others....but you wont find these people in Tsem Rinpoche's forum..

Gaden Tri Rinpoche represents the highest authority for the Gelug/Yellow Hat tradition because his office is suppose to represent Lama Tsongkhapa while the office of Jangse Choje of Gaden Monastery is suppose to represent Gyaltsab Je and Sharpa Choje is suppose to represent Kedrub Je.

You know what's the best way to thank His Holiness (and every kind lama who has educated and supported Rinpoche)? Hold our vows well, practise Guru Devotion, learn, study and practise the Dharma. As Rinpoche always says, he (and all other lamas) doesn't need praise, expensive gifts or whatever. All he and other lamas want is for us to be free from suffering. That's the best way we can thank our teachers for the effort and time they put into us, and the care and devotion that they show us :)

Oh but you're soooo right, we have been truly blessed to have Rinpoche in Malaysia! Of all the lamas who we've had the merit to meet, we got to meet a lama who speaks English! We really shouldn't waste this opportunity. We need to create the causes for Rinpoche to live long, so he can continue to teach the dharma...and spread to others all of the benefits that we have experienced from learning what little Dharma we know!

The selection process is meritocratic so anyone can be a Gaden Tripa, if they have the skill, knowledge, acumen...which is why when His Holiness says Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is the real deal, we should believe him because His Holiness is one smart cookie...he's not going to be duped by an impostor! ;)

Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is really amazing. I heard that one of the Singapore Cell Groups founder members actually got to know Rinpoche from Youtube, and then later went to visit Kechara House in Malaysia. This shows how Tsem Tulku Rinpoches teachings are real and can really impact people.

Kechara House people are really a bunch of hardworking people. They have various daily pujas at the centre from Monday to Thursday; and then on Friday and Sunday, they have studies courses like Lamrim class and Sunday Manjushri class. They also have a soup kitchen Kechara Soup Kitchen that goes out to distribute food 2 days in a week. I am sure these are all inspired by their spiritual guide Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.

I read from Tsem Tulku Rinpoches book, Gurus for Hire Enlightenment for Sale that Rinpoche personally discourages his students to be involved in politics and just focus on the spiritual part of Tibetan Buddhism. The book was launched in London and in the London Book Fair recently. It is a great book!

The truth will always prevail and I can only say 2 things: 1. See how successful Tsem Tulku Rinpoches organisation is 2. See who are the people in REAL Buddhist authority (the abbot of Gaden Shartse monastery, HH Gaden Tripa etc) and what they say about Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. If this doesnt shut them up, then that means they think they are better than the abbot and Gaden Tripa.

It takes a lot of courage to teach Dharma to a group of people who is not of the same culture or tradition and you dont even know how their mindsets are. And in modern times, perhaps the traditional Tibetan Monastic style of teaching is very difficult to be accepted and adopted, hence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche applies unconventional style of teaching to address these crowd.

Fantastic! The representative of Lama Tsongkhapa on earth speaks french! Well, we are blessed to hear his holy voice but I think we are even more blessed to hear H. E. Although they are murdering the Dharma and some might even put Guru body in risk, and our job here is continue to educate them, so one day they will listen, as Rinpoche always says, we must have compassion heart to everyone, pray for them and try our best to chage their mind thinking.....

We should not act angry towards those critics, as i believe if Rinpoche heard those critics, Rinpoche will stay calm, and pray for them as well...........So please stay calm....the more you fight back, the more critics there are, and never ending story.....Hope everyone can practise that....

Criticizing will leads them to Samsara, as a practitioner, we should not listen too much, criticise back or even fight back, we should have a calm mind to make them understand, if they do not accept, then is fine, cause you alrd do your good job to tell them about Rinpoche ways of spreading Dharma......

Well, lets not take so hard for those words and phrases that criticised Rinpoche, as they do not understand Rinpoche way and method of spreading Dharma, and i believe they will understand Rinpoche 1 day, just the matter of time....and what we can do is to continue to serve our lama and spread his dharma works, no point to argue here and there......

dharmakid108, i know you are disgusted with the people & forum that criticised Rinpoche with bad intention or could be due to their ignorance. You need to see this as a sign of degenerate times for Buddha Dharma. That is why now there are many high lamas manifested in the most unconventional ways to teach dharma; like our Rinpoche started in modeling circle or other Rinpoches in singing or movies.. Anyway, don't let those critics disturb your mind... stay focus...

I wish this video would be posted in a certain Buddhist forum who dislikes Rinpoche and the gelugpas. the moderators there often make it hard for people to practice and focus instead on useless technical information. I hope that one day people will abandon that damm place.

Yeah, I think its all the jealousy and hatred or wrong views of some sector of people who just dont want to be successful in Malaysia. This is a big damage and I believe by criticizing or creating rumours on another Rinpoche is equivalent to killing 1,000 Buddhas!

chikensoupbowl & others, I don't see they going to cause any damage to Rinpoche's reputation and standings among the high lamas and the respectable Sangha community. Why pay too much attention to these rumours & the accusers? Let them bark, no reasonable thinking Buddhist will believe them. When we talk about them, it means we're affected but we're NOT!
Oh they'll reap the results of their own bad karma anyway, so no need to mention about them ok...

well.. assiahproject, we would feel sad for them but since they block their minds & wont listen to authentic endorsement, we cant do much to help them now. We ourselves have not perfected our own practice, so it just required us to work even harder now that we see very clearly there are too many ignorant people need to be saved!

From time to time, I've heard some pretty nasty rumours about Tsem Rinpoche, but if the supreme head of the Gelugpa sect himself can sing praises for him, that means rumours are just..... rumors. That clearly means, most of what Rinpoche's doing in Malaysia is right. It is really depressing to know that some people have the audacity to criticize and spread false rumors about a lama who has done so much for so many.

vajrakilaya, This video just proves it all isnt it? I feel that, it doesnt matter what others say. H.H Gaden Tripa did endorse Tsem Rinpoche, it is what matters most to myself.
I'm very assure that Tsem Rinpoche is teaching the correct path as he only have compassion and love towards us, the student and have not and will not do anything to harm us at all.

I totally 100% agree! Rinpoche has already come so far since arriving in Malaysia in 1992 with nothing. Since then, through his compassion and hard work, he's been able to open a dharma centre and it has been filled with dedicated students. Now they have 12 departments, all looking to spread dharma in their own special ways...and they've got land for a retreat centre, and they want to build south Asia's largest Tsongkhapa statue!! I really really rejoice for the region!

a further note about the Gaden Tripas: they are changed every 5 years and they are voted by high lamas and the Sangha community. This tradition started with Lama Tsongkhapa who passed his hat and seat down to Kedrup Je who replaced Lama Tsongkhapa as the abbot of Gaden Monastery. When 5 years passed, he then passed it down to Gyaltsab Je and so the tradition continues. This lineage has been unbroken since then

he says that in order to get full benefit from the dharma full dedication is necessary and it does not mean that you have to give up your day job...just doing your commitments every day would be good enough and he is kind enough to choose commitments that dosent take up a lot of time to practice. On top of that, it is also important to follow through the instructions that he gives or else it will be hard for him to help...

If he can bring benefit to so many people and he works so hard for the Dharma (he has endless meetings and sleepless nights just to help his students and solve problems), there is no doubt that he is a valid Rinpoche no matter what people say. Observing is always better than hearsay. Better not judge if you cant.

Also during the Nepal Pilgrimage, when the pilgrims visited a Nyigma temple, a very old Nyigma monk who was doing his retreats in a small and humble hut in the gompa came out specifically to request Rinpoche for his blessings and also that Rinpoche live long and may Rinpoche's activities spread in the 10 directions...if 1 master praises him, it's not too significant but if many are...there is definitely something to it

it's always easier and more fun to criticize someone but not easy to see their good points and aspire to be like them. It is easier to forget that Dharma practice is about aspiring for someone's good qualities rather than putting people down based on their bad qualities in the long run. People who like to put down others for whatever reason will go down and fail in life because they never did anything positive

All the High Lamas, whenever they see Tsem Rinpoche, they never fail to give him a blessing. When Dzongzar Khyentse Rinpoche came to malaysia, Rinpoche met him and DKR requested Tsem Rinpoche to bless him instead! That is definitely something you dont see happening everyday...DKR is a highly recognized Lama from the Nyigma tradition and he sees Rinpoche in high regard...it shows that Tsem Rinpoche is highly attained..

I agree that most Buddhist forums are a good place to learn about Buddhism but some can be very misleading. They claim to be valid, non-sectarian and knowledgeable when they are in actuality very biased and ignorant about other lineages. They do not hesitate to spread misinformation or even try to get their facts straight before telling it to others....but you wont find these people in Tsem Rinpoche's forum..

It dosent take the Gaden Tripa alone... many highly realized masters who have met Rinpoche has also said the same thing. Rinpoche has great compassion to help all of his weird students who are in need of help and he provides help in any way that they need even if they trick or lie to Rinpoche. That is what I have observed and I am deeply touched by his kindess which is always genuine...

Yes, and if those doubters check out the "Tsem Tulku Rinpoche Goes Home!!" videos, they'll see that Rinpoche has the respect of ALL of Gaden. 3000 monks and high lamas cannot be wrong. His Holiness the Dalai Lama cannot be wrong. His Holiness Trijang Rinpoche and His Holiness Zong Rinpoche cannot be wrong. Doubters see what they want to see, and hear what they want to hear, because they believe living in denial is easier than knowing the truth! Weird!
