Hi this is Camoran from San Francisco, California. I saw couple of TD925 with black delivery on Freeway 101S when I was driving in opposite direction. The speed was too fast so I couldn't catch anymore detailed, but it had something like "SFO XXX shuttle/express". Who know the owner of these Van Hool TD925 in San Francisco?
I rode the european version of this, thus I drawn a high fidelity paperbus of it. Such pleasant voyages I had with it and so pleasant design it has! =)
Also pretty safe for a DD... I'm pretty sure american version is exactly as good as the european!
You have more coach vids? If yes, then invite me to subscribe, so I can remember! =)
Hey, I on the ABC web site, the GWV posted for these buses was 57000lb. But it was posted on this web site that it was only 54000 lb. So what this bus GWV? I hope it is 57000 lb, because a MCI J4500 GWV is 54000, and I would hope this bus is heavier than a J4500.
I finaly saw a TD925 in person this weekend. Venture Tours of Vrignia Beach VA just had theres delivered. It is in red color with a little super man sign behind the front door and a styish V behinded the Venture name. It stilly taller than a Prevost H series as a H series is taller the a MCI D series, but I still like this buses!
I just have to say, I really like your companies fleet. From the MCI F3500 and the passenger raise roof E4500 ( most passenger E4500 do not have raise roof) to the many H series in you guys fleet and those two TD-925. I really like that black VIP H3-45 you guys have.
I was wondering, did those TD-925 replace the older H3-40 with the 8V-92and 6v92?
Honestly, I think the owner just liked them when he saw them at the ABA show here in Va Beach. He had been looking to replace the 60 foot articulating Prevost's he sold before I started driving for them.
I am like you, I think we have a greatly diverse and beautiful fleet. I love driving every bus that we have.
This Van Hool Dubble Decker is impressive, but Setra has a 417 base Dubble Decker in Europe. I saw some of these Setra Dubble Deckers on my trip to Paris, and took some photo one inside and out, and they are very good looking inside and out. They are better looking than the 417 ( already the best looking coach in the US, at least I think so)and best of all Setra Dubble Deckers are V8 power.
This motorcoach is the smoothest DRIVING coach i have ever driven, and I have driven every model of coach in the US designed from MC8, MC9, 102A3, D3, DL3, Renaissance, J4500...to Prevost Le Mirage, XLII, X3, H341, H345 to VanHool T800's, T900's, T2145's, C2045's...and now this double decker. It is so responsive to the road yet floats very nice. Enjoy!
Thats AMAZING!! I drove the Setra 417 when it first came to the states and thought that was a fabulous bus. The 2145 double D here obviously has some nice computers to keep it upright during all that manuvering.
This shows how stable the Van Hool double decker are. There is a maket for double decker in US. SCRTD and AVTA has use Neoplan Skyliners as commuter coaches into downtown Los Angeles from the suburbs, also Grey line tours uses double decker on there day tours though SF, NYC, Chicogo and Washington DC. Seeing this double decker is base on Van Hool T 2145 they should be easly to work on.
Hey, How do you change the destination signs to your own message on
these coaches?

Ok i only own single deck bus but aren't these maneuvers a little dangerous for a double?

This would be an really good video for a salesman to show when trying to sell one. At least a company could see what the bus is capable of.
