Not really. If you are looking for a good entry level, cheaper speedball gun, I'd go with either the DP G4 or the Proto Rail. Pricing runs about $300 here in Canada. Probably cheaper in the US.

No problem. You will just see way better performance, accuracy, and efficiency with one of those two markers. If you have a little bit extra over $300 to spend, I'd also check out the new Planet Eclipse Etha. Don't go with the Invert Mini though, as I have one, and I've had some issues with the solenoid going out. It's just a pain. Not a bad marker after that issue though... But if it was me, I'd go check out the G4 and 2011 Rail and make a decision. Glad I could help!

@YWAMPaintball this was the first gun i ever had, although it is not a higher end gun, it is fairly reliable and it only chops cheap paint. Also the accuracy is fairly decent but can dip from time to time. A great first gun but not something to use in a tourney.

Ya check your O-Rings but you should drie fire your gun as you are taking off the tank it relives the pressure for inside the chamber so you dont lose as much air taking the tank off.

yes they do for about 100 bucks but the 09 version is better because it is 15%lighter and 10%smaller also i just got one 09. But the gun shown in the video is a 05 i think.

Yes it is one of the best, it's easy to handle, pretty accurate, low maintainance, and it's a great way to stay in shape <-- (family guy reference lol) but yeah, the xtra is my speedball gun and i love it

i have this same gun its the spyder xtra 06. i think it is better than the newer versions. my setup is spyder xtra w/ clamping feedneck, invert halo too hopper, 14 inch smart parts progressive barrel, and spyder rocking trigger frame 2.0 (this gun is amazing with the trigger frame)

I just got this marker yesterday. I think it''s great and good for begginers. I recommend using an electric hopper because once you get the hang of it you'll be shooting like crazy.
