They actually have released something on part of IG3 it has the same playstyle and stuff called hegemonia, league of iron, or smthing I don't know the subtitle but search for Hegemonia 4X RTS....

@xXE4GLEyEXx i remember i played the Demo of Imperium Galactica 3 before it was cancled an baught out to become NExus the Jupiter incident. an there was gonna be a Nexus the jupiter incident 2 as well, and the graphics were amazing an everything on the Tech video, an then that got cancled before even any demo or wat ever came out :(

When action sci-fi tactic and roll-play is meeting in one big game! Dont like these days of games: graphics is everything and there is no more that lovly feeling when playing... so sad than even these s*** games can sole to the people...

i still play this game, i didnt realize how advanced it truly was though. 3D space and ground combat combined with a decent storyline. very good for its time.

IG3 could have been one of the best, but due to the company going down the drain it was reduced to ship to ship combat. Nexus: The Jupiter Incident was the result. Mithis Entertainment did a good job on it but it wasnt IG3.

I hope someday a publisher/dev group rekindles this series. Damn bankruptcy's kill dreams.

You're right. Today the main thing is the graphic realism. Most of the game makers think this is the only way to tell a story to tell a feeling.

Nexus:The jupiter incident was supposed to be the next Imperium Galactica 3..but if i remember correctly, the company that produced it had serious financial issues and had to change the whole concept.

i still play IG2, its quite fun to have big ships, and land units still a good game.

@ubenstupen the closest you can get to IG3 is playing Hegemony, it can be considered as the "past" of IG timeline

you need the game, these are from the game, I just changed the filenames to .mp3 and they worked :S

i do have the 4 cd (.iso) game, complete with cinematics and all sound files, except for the music. it doesn't play it and i can't find it in the files.

They are placed in the Data/Mfx directory.

The files are named "spwar1.mfx, spwar2 and 3.

Just rename the *.mfx to *.mp3. ;)
