The Fed Ex trailers were probably getting shipped to another city for use. Its way easier to move 20 trailers with 1 train than with 10-20 trucks. They were gonna ship a bunch of them from Harrisburg to Chicago last year but we had to hide them at various terminals so we would have them if we needed them. And they dont cut up trailers at fed ex. They have someone haul them to a location that does.

all of those trailers are full of ground shipment packages...It looks like they are trying to show you that no matter how you ship it comes the same way. I had 16 years at fedex and that is how the ground freight is moved.

Nah they're new. The old ones are normally beat up pretty bad. They either paint the logos over then move them to be scrapped or they're cut up at a FedEx facility.

@bnsfatsf usually if FedEx has openings on their aircraft they just throw anything they can on them. UPS will send an aircraft out empty.
