i got the nbox media player n82 v3. it has a hdmi output, but i got no sound while using a hdmi cable. what is the problem? what am i doing wrong? please help.
If you don't have component cables, run 2 pairs of 3 RCA cables and match up colors to colors on individual wires and it will work EXACTLY like Component cables will, but at a much cheaper price compared to component cables.
Im pretty sure it just finds all the video files on the hard drive. I used it for about two months with files that were put on with windows XP and then i upgraded to Windows 7 and have added many more videos since. All have played well. I have not tried adding files to the hard drive from a Mac or linux.
@WhiteheadCWM Hey man, thanks for the video, thought I'd let you know that you can actually use standard yellow red and white rca cables for a component video setup, all you have to do is match whatever you use on one end with the other, e.g. red goes to red (on each side), white goes to blue (on each side) and yellow goes to green (on each ) and thats it! That will handle the video, then just grab another rca cable (yellow, red and white) and use its red and white for audio (yellow left unused)
@WhiteheadCWM Ok does it matter if I have windows XP or windows 7 installed on the external HDD cuz I use them to clone my PC every so often, Does it just find the movies automatically no matter what OS I have on the external ?
i just got my N-BOX today from E-bay i'm very happy with it ,it's not perfect but....the movies look great,music,pictures...but sometimes it has hard time reading the hard drive or usb ,,but it's o.k. for the price....i think it.s worth it..it does it's job...and to me thats great.....
I just ordered one from E-bay and i'm waiting for it to arrive it looks great + its not that pricey ..can't wait to get it .it's basic nice features just what i want reviews convinced me..now i will see for myself if product is great....
cool, and another question... What kind of video formats does it play AVI, MP4 and FlV or all?
