@janoschii this is a 1954 british television production starring peter cushing of hammer horror fame. the 1956 film starred edmund o'brien. the 1984 version starred john hurt.

Orwell's fundamental mistake was to think that post-war fascism would come from the right. I fact it has come via the Frankfurt school of cultural marxism through the liberal left as we now see in Europe and the US where soviet concepts like multiculturalism, diversity and so-called 'equality' are destroying the family and nation and the people are subject to politically correct thought control. UK is now a progressive-communitarian increasingly marxist-Islamist atate.

In no way does he express a fear that "fascism" will come from the far right. I have no doubt he believed that (and is right about it) but that is not the warning in 1984 at all. In fact it is more inline with your absurd view of the UK. Marxism and Islam are utterly incompatible.
