when ever i buy graphic card i always look for reference model to ensure the stable working condition. after market model usually sucks because of costing down equipment.

Pretty stupid they didn't built a cooler in the other gigabyte version of this card. It goes 115°C when playing GTAIV :S

dust...only thing would cause heat is dust......take ur gfx out and clean it for once.....mine is the same reference model as this one but my is pny VCG96512GXPB-FLB and temperature never go above 47c in full load. of cause the reference model cool sucks when overclocking but overall i would prefer reference model better.

the 9800 is way better but if ur buying this card the heat sync is very small so it wont take up 2 slots + the price for it is awesome. I have this card and love it!

@hanrinch i got 5770 but im not happy with it as hd5xxx series have some bug that it freezes ur pc sometime ffs.

i have some story with these graphic cards over 2 years :DDD.

@hanrinch yea they are worse than nvidia even the webpage is complicated and shit no info... but that card is cheap and it has dx11 thats why i got it , nvidia has dx11 cards but they dont make cheap and easy cards they made dx11 cards that cost 400e so wtf im not buying for that mutch.

Yeah, the Zalman cooler version is awesome, keeps low temps and is very silent. I recommend it.

I LOVE my 9600GT EXTREME from Leadtek. It is overclocked to 720MHz Core with makes it almost as fast as a 8800GT. Too bad I only have a P4 631 @ 3.0GHz! This thing bottlenecks;yet, I can play Crysis at High settings at all High Settings in windowed 800x600(Good enough for me!). I can play GTA SA,Call of Duty 2 and HL2 maxed out! LOVE THIS CARD!!
