  • Mmmmmm. Looks so easy and soooo yummy! Thank you!!

  • You can eat any fish raw, but there are certain grades of fish, and you can't eat just any fish you find at the super market raw. The fish the Japanese use in Sushi is typically extremely fresh and well kept, so serving it raw is not dangerous.

  • i dont think so. cuz in sushi people in salmon rare all the time.

  • It's usually cured, not just raw.

  • Usually cured. But, I had it once when i caught 2 Mahi Mahi's, and the hotel people cut it, and then i just ate it. They didnt cure it. (of course they took out the blood and stuff, and washed it. )

  • lol, Hardcore. I think it's more like, PREFERABLY cured. Although, I'm not sure. I worked for a fish market called Browne Trading, and all the local sushi bars bought cured tuna and salmon from us, nothing raw.

  • true. i think it is rare to see it without cure. most local sushi bars do buy cured fish..

  • i really like his chopping board. where can i get something similar, does anybody have any idea?

  • o god.... -drools- if only i could cook...

  • wtf is a charlets?

  • if you are talking about what he first put in the pan for the sauce they are shallots... Little purple colored onion family used in many sauces. Your grocer will have them loose like your onions or in little mesh sacks with three or so in the sack.

  • great

  • I enjoy the flavor of olive oil in my cooking, so I have a tendency to use quite a bit. You certainly don't need as much as I used when cooking with a non-stick pan, it just a matter of personal choice.

  • fair enough, its a personal choice

  • @cookiechef01 he's an experienced chef .... im sure he knows how much olive oil to use in a pan , lol you fail for advice

  • This salmon is INCRDIBLE!

  • I agree,I made this and loved it!! men are better faster chefs!
