i respect the reasons for earth hour, but i have seen videos of people with like a big candle per person & my local dollar store was even out of tealights & votives that day. How much energy does it take to make them?
& there was a featured earth day item - the battery operated flicker candles with no flame.. they're worse!
Find a friend with a fireplace & have a party with wood you went out & grabbed from the scrap pile or chopped up yourself! Share a fire and save the world. Look beyond.
