  • 3:00 "In 4 or 5 years, that's all gonna turn around."

4 or 5 years later, NEVERMIND... yeah, Dylan was right.

  • Is it me, or he looks a little like Keith Richards?

  • lol.totally awesome........and i am not one who followed his career but i love it..........and he draws really really well

  • good for u...........u never let them get the best of u

  • he is awesome.........very intelligent and he does not let the media take charge of anything.....he really needs to teach the younger generation how not to let the media destroy u

  • He predicted exactly what would happen to todays music.

  • @SandGandBandD Exactly what I was thinking.

  • i guess bob dylan does more interviews with male interviewers....because if i was interviewing him i would have to grab him and start kissing him .....that would not be very professional and i'm a little annoying for dylan...:)

anyways......little jealous of this guy being all alone with dylan in his trailer...drawing a picture of him...lucky dude

  • Bob sure is good at what he does...as artist in many ways

  • he kinda predicted punk/grunge coming back in the late 80s/ 90s

  • @buewgewstmeiers

    Yep! Exactly what I thought.

  • why aren't there videos of a woman interviewing him....that would be fun to watch:) :)

  • The interviewer is a dick head

  • also, he's drawing because he's brain is always being creative...he can't turn it off

i love how he holds up his picture.. like a little kid waiting for them to say it's good:)

  • the reason he was ignoring the interviewer in part 1 is because he nervous and uncomfortable...hence the drawing

but the more time goes by....he talks more and gets more comfortable with the guy'

    he's sooo cute!

  • he drawing and doing the interview....he's talking to him and answering his questions...just not in the ordinary way other people do....

but he's doing the interview people .

and drawing the guy (he should be flatter that he's drawing him...it's nice)

  • hahaha and i love the sara dylanpat "Jesus" - bob

  • i really dug his thing about the machines and music and how its all the same that is so true nowadays we need to get new artists oout there

  • HIGH ON COCAINE its the 80s you know

  • I love the Sara Dylan part.

  • He's on something for sure. Buddy tries to interview him and he draws his portrait. Hilarious

  • Hes for sure on something. buddy trys and interview him and he draws a picture of him. hilarious

  • He just foresaw the grunge revolution

  • of course he is right, he is talking about his last album (in 1986) empire burlesque, almost all the songs sound the same, that's because of the lame drum machine.

  • 2:37...predicting the musical revival of the early 90's...the grunge scene..those kids Bob talks about are you know who....

  • It wasn't McGuinn who did that ---(Tape acc.) It was Sandy Bull, Check it out!

  • he is cool, but he needs to eat fresh fruits.

  • He is right about the 'synthetic' music these days,.. The music back in the 90s was interesting,..But now many of the musicians from that time are in their 30s & 40s and have stopped making interesting music. Today i find music coming out totally synthetic. I can't even bear to turn on the radio. Not to discredit good musicians out there, ( i'm sure there are many), ..but they are just not being heard.

  • I'd be petrified to have Bob Dylan draw a picture of me, staring again and again with those stern, scowly, dagger sharp eyes.

  • @salsburysteakjr

    oh please...freeze frame at :37

he's sweet face looking up for approval of his picture...he looks like a kid there

  • as he sez "have you noticed that all songs sound the same?" yeah. that's why the people who listen to them r what they r. they've been boored2death and r on some kind of craven popularity trip. that's y u-tubers only listen2popular singers. they never check out originals. do a cover and u get a few views; do an original and u get no views. popularity groupies sicking to the winners: the most common most banal disease in humanity: winnerstickeritis

  • cruely honest

  • Bob is diplomatic in this....great interview...

  • The trick is how to relax Dylan and give him the idea you just want to chat with him about the weather and stuff.

  • His sister Sara - ha!

  • Think he kind of predicts Britpop too.

  • Hard to believe this is 25 years ago!

  • The reason he gives for why he makes music is interesting. Years before this, the writer Flannery O'Connor gave the same reason for why she wrote.

  • Sad that the turnaround he speaks of still hasn't happened

    :(

  • The 'mock concert' referred to by the interviewer was a scene from the film 'Hearts of Fire, involving a performance by Bob in character as 'Billy Parker'.

  • "Mock concert"? WTF? Is the reporter retarded? He has the chance to talk to Bob Dylan, and shits through his mouth like that.

  • ''Whent to the seclution of his own little kingdom''!! HAHA, Bob surely knows Bob!

  • only 7 songs have ever been written

  • @davey4557 whats up dave!!!!!

  • sniffffffff!!!!...Hmmmmm.

  • Fascinating how he predicts the fad of DJ "stars" of today...

  • @oobah2 Even more fascinating is when Jim Morrison did the same in 1969

  • Thanks so much for posting these 4 interviews.
