Haiti is a more capitalist society than the United States in many ways. In Haiti, we don't have any social safety nets; we don't even have free schools; we don't have neither medicare, nor social security.

The solution to Haiti's problem is some form of Socialism, not charity. Starting with redistribution of wealth through taxation, welfare, and nationalization.
