  • I bought mine at the scuba diving store in town. I do not think it is considered a firearm because it has no firing mechanism it needs the impact of the speargun to detonate, but not positive I have had mine 10 years or longer laws may be different. I really do not know anything about a bang stick if same or different

  • that speargun is wwweeeaakkkkk, it barely even penetrate the shark skin

  • @7150285 there was only 1 band on if you watch the video. It says "powerhead" is was a powerhead that killed not the speargun. I use a 12 guage and only go on the first notch. I prefer if the spear does not go in at all and let the firearm do the work

  • @captaingeary what is actually a powerhead?? and btw, i cant let the firearm do the work except if the shark surface the water

  • @7150285 @7150285 Powerhead uses a firearm such as a .38 or .357, 9mm, 20 gauge or 12 gauge depending what you buy. it attaches to a spear gun and the concussion kills the target. Optimal with little or no penetration. All I had on the boat this day was a 30.06 rifle and my friend had his power head I think .357 mag. So you can see how the water quietened the noise almost completely. I only carry mine for defense when spear fishing. 60 dives no problem but see plenty sharks

  • @captaingeary so is powerhead sold at the stores? or do u have to make it urself outta a shotgun shell. I heard some powerhead uses CO2 gas and some are called "bang stick" rather than a powerhead

  • Your an asshole for shooting a nurse shark and there also protected sharks!!! Fagget!!!

  • @therb1006 who are you to be calling my friend a fag? Why can't you post something nice. Your videos mention gay constantly. Go enjoy your husband fag

  • homemade power head?

  • No store bought

  • nothing like shooting a big shark in the head! Good times. . . . lol

  • So long as your eating it... Right on.

  • crying to your dad while you suck him off sounds like what you should be doing instead of watching this and complaining about it. fuckin faggot

  • Ahhh International waters,a place where you can make people disappear without having the pigs in blue breathing down your neck.hmmm....... I bet people would pay a lot of money for this kind of service. *wink* *wink*

  • wow i can't believe you shot it from that distance without a sight

  • weird. I mostly did a search for this vid, because our family bought some shark for dinner the other day, and found 4 copper or brass (?) shot pellets in its meat. Do people shoot them with shotguns or something too?

  • Yes, I use a 12 gauge shotgun shell #4 like for rabbit/small game. It fits into a "powerhead" which is 5 inches long and screws onto the end of a spear gun just like in the video. HOWEVER we only shoot in the head, the head is not normally consumed. But anything is possible.

  • I use .22 hollow points for tuna and shark for years now but from a rifle.

  • no laws broke, shark was consumed

  • what kind of shark was that

  • nurse as I recall, good eatin for 4 families

  • you can eat nurse sharks? i didnt know that. thanks for the info.

  • Florida looks fun!!!!

  • So, what sort of gun is that? Does it shoot a projectile. And finally, did you harvest the critter?

  • It is called a powerhead. I use a 12ga. shotgun shell this one is a .357 magnum. The gun is a regular spear gun for scuba diving/spear fishing. 12 miles offshore here in Florida is International waters. It is legal in Florida but not in fresh water and only for certain species in salt water. Life here is good-Steve

  • We ate him!!!!!!!
