Peter Jackson and Guillermo Del Toro are making The Hobbit into a film, as well as the time between the end of The Hobbit and the beginning of LotR, its early days, preproduction, but I can't wait! :D

YAY! I wonder if they'll get Ian Holm and Ian McKellen to take up their old parts of Bilbo and Gandalf? It's too bad the others probably wont make an appearance (at least not in the Hobbit - I don't know about the other one)

Well Ian McKellen is rumored to be coming back as Gandalf but sadly they're think Ian Holm is a bit too old to be young Frodo, which is sad coz he's awesome! But Dominic Monaghan is reported as saying that the four hobbits would be appearing in it somewhere, which is well cool!

Guillermo del Toro is the director (i hope its the right word), because Peter Jackson dont have the rights for the movie. But he is first producer, so he can give del Toro good hints. Del Toro made Hellboy and Pans Labyrinth. Very good movies!

dude, if they were gay, they'd say they were gay. They have nothing to fear in this day and age. They learned that from Ian Mckellen, I'm sure. They're just friends. They all are. Can't guys be close as brothers and not make everyone wonder if they're gay? They're just sensitive actors who are really open with their feelings and secure enough in their heterosexuality that they don't care about acting affectionate or what people think. They're like brothers.

what i hate is when ppl critiscise peter jackson or the editors for not including half the stuff in the books if they stuck to every detail of the books it wud be BLOODY TEN HOURS EACH! so next time sumbody critiscises wot the films don't include say 2 them well U try making the LOTR films all theyre doing is getting to the heart of the story n trying to capture what tolkien was expressing onto the screen
