@realazzrealgets Ha thanks man! But after I got everything set in I ran a few passes and my fastest motor pass was 12.20 at 110. I never could get a clean nitrous pass in because the battery died in the lanes and wouldn't open the nitrous solenoid during my passes. But yeah post some vids and I'll check them out!
@realazzrealgets i would go with a bigger cam man like the the comp xe284 that .470 lift cam it kinda small for what ya got the bigger cam would really wake it up
Sounds Nice!!! How Much HP and Torque does it make? I was thinging of building close to the same thing. 355 Block, RHS Pro Action 200cc heads, xs274s cam, Performer RPM intake, 600 edelbrock carb, 9.45:1 CR, 3.73 gears, 2 1/4 exhaust with Super 44s for my 77 Camaro.
@77ChevyCamaro Honestly, not too sure on the numbers... But with what it ran it should be making about 430 to the wheels. But get the RPM Air Gap intake if you can with a Holley 650 dp and that should wake it up more than a standard RPM and 600 edelbrock. Also, why 9.45:1 are you using like stock pistons or something?
@77ChevyCamaro Ahh I see now. Well should be a really fun street car. Sadly, mine is for sale now it needs to be moved for something else, my daily driver is going out and I need some money for a new one. But have fun with it I'm sure you will. Also, what transmission are you planning on using?
@77ChevyCamaro No, honestly I only had to do it three times. The first was after the 20 minute break-in, then after about 3 days of running it. The third time I adjusted them was after the first track day with it. But then after that everything was good I've checked them twice but they didn't need adjusting.
Sounds Nice!!! How much Hp and Torque does this thing have? I was going to build close to the same thing. Same cam, Performer RPM intake, 600 Edelbrock, 355 block, 9.45:1 CR, 2 1/4 exhaust with Super 44s , 3.73 gears, and RHS Pro Action 200cc heads.
@F0R3V3RD3AD im not sure im painting it black and putting red stripes on it, i figured that would look pretty sweet but im just gonna drive it in summers/nice weather and drive a ford ranger the rest of the time
Thanks man! The car at that time was still a work in progress but I'm getting close to finishing it now. It needed a lot of work, I had to fix the framerails, quarter panels, fenders, doors, and interior. Most of the metal on the car is good, but those spots needed work and I'm almost finished now just a little more bodywork and then paint. When I get it finished I'll put one up of the whole car.
Kind* not jons lol

@F0R3V3RD3AD I have a th-350 with a shift kit. Did you have to adjust the valves must with the solid cam?
