I personally think they are one of the best performers LIVE, and well look at it this way, linkin park might not win but they get nominated alot. Hey, I love Linkin Park, more than Maroon 5 probably, but really, their newer stuff isn't as good as their old stuff... a lot of fans won't vote for them because of that, they don't like the change. No point in hating in on who won though, the awards people aren't gonna change the results because some people are angry.

Don't believe me, go listen to their Friday the 13th songs. These 5 men has extreme talent and they are being recognised for that. @goodcharlottte17 They are a band, there is 5 of them. Adam Levine (Lead Singer), James Valintine (Lead Guitar), Mickey Madden (Bass), Jesse Carmichel (Keyboards), and Matt Flynn (Drums). They are on the radio a lot because of their hit song "Moves Like Jagger". Not every fan knows them for that song. I have known of this band since "This Love", I am a big time Maroon 5 fan, I love their music! Don't sterotype every fan, we are all different!
