So sad to hear this news today. I just bought Gentlemen Prefer Blonds the other day & loved it. First time I ever saw it. I love Marilyn but I have to say that Jane was the true star in that movie. And I have to say that Gentlemen all over the world prefer brunettes today. What a gorgeous woman! She was a real dame.
@SueSnell Crazy how fast time flies by. I watched this video last night and felt the say joy all over again as when I was a child hearing them sing this song. Man I must be getting old.
I saw this movie back in the 70's on saturday afternoon tv as a young teen. It was Jane Russell who kicked started my hormones in her role as Mike the bandit. Still in love with her today. Great song brings back memories from the past.
I LOVE this song, reminds me of being a child, watching it on a saturday night, also makes me think of my mum shaving my dad and singing this,oh the memories!!
Certainly a turn-on in the black outlaw outfits..
