Supporters donated more than $55 million to Obama's campaign in the month of February. More important that the amount of money is how they did it -- more than 90% of donations were $100 or less, and more than 385,000 new donors in February pushed them past their goal of more than 1,000,000 people owning a piece of Obama's campaign. Unlike Senator Clinton and Senator McCain, Obama''s campaign has never taken money from lobbyists or PACs.

Ron Paul raised over 6 million dollars in 1 day and gets no air play...Obama takes a few days to raise 7 million.....i say this is PATHETIC!!!!! Obama with all of those voters and airtime, money, 57% of youth, could not match what message of truth, limited government, and liberty raised.

Scarborough is sort of glorifying Obama's achievement, but this is frightening. Obama, HIllary and Edwards just bought the democratic process, and effectively shunted out the likes of kuccinich, gravel, dodd and biden. Money translates to amazing success in the polls becuz ppl finally see OBama's strong presence. It's estimated this is the firt election for which over 1 billion dollars will be raised by candidates. I'm worried.
