Not having read any comments, because it's quite a wall of text here, have you tried aspir samba vs a rdm? It drains mp even when you don't get it, like the Drain spell does, might be something fun to try.
i dont think ive ever been beaten on my rdm in pvp. i fought another better geared rdm once and the timer ran out, i fought a drk and he broke my stoneskin right before dieing. i fought a pld/rdm and he ran out of mp and hit me for 0 the whole time.

assuming, no mistakes, both people are equally skilled, and equally geared, both max merited, and using NO items, dnc has the disadvantage against a rdm, rdm used to be my main for about 4 years cus of all the options, soloing, and capability it has, i thought dnc was gonna be gay, i read up on it a bit and tested it out.... it was awesome, i leveled to 75 in like 2 months tops, then eventually pulled away from rdm and put everything into dnc, cus against pve i could do SO much more but
in pvp rdm was a lot better, my dnc is more of a tank then anything though ne ways. i can still DD in my DD gear but i got rid of some pieces and took off str merits to raise vit, and to buy more def gear, in sky i can still do around 1.2k on pots/dolls with food and building flourish, and 1.7k on birds, merit mobs like mamool 1.1k at best average like 900 ish, so not all that, i can blood tank at best, around 26 korrigans/steelshells in boya tree without getting dangerous lol
i used to skill my parry there, and grab about 13ish any more then that, then they start trying to attack me from the back to it was pointless, made it to 249 parry, can blood tank 5 T-VT manticores in cape terri, and by blood tanking i mean, protect IV, phalanx, shell IV, and taco, all the healing and other junk is strictly from me only, no assistance on healing, i can still use my TP to WS as well and heal other targets np with given time

I'm not sure why the rdm was trying to wear you down... if your facing a DNC/BRD why let the DNC gain any TP, keep the dispels coming and nuke hard.... sleep after bio? come on.. I could understand if it was DNC/NIN, But theres no reason the RDM couldn't hold his own. If I were fighting a DNC/BRD I'd build 300TP, spam debuffs to make them waste their TP, wait until they start to cast Finale, then Spirits Within -> Sleep -> Thunder III.

DNC are easy to beat as RDM/NIN i've beat one easy not even trying lol, just kept utsu, SS, and Phalanx up and he couldnt do anything :P

If that red mage could play her job better you'd of died. Plus starting a 1 vs 1 with tp isn't a 1 vs 1 at all. Should start with tp at 0 and job abilities reset.

Good vid, as always, but juding from all the 0's, I think you would have had a difficult time if you started at 0tp. Dnc/brd is a decent combo though.
