Everyone who visited McDonalds in those days and who is still alive today, and honestly, I don't mean anything detrimental by that, remembers how much bigger a Big Mac was in the 80's. That was real value for your money and everything did taste so much better then. It slipped down the old guzzler a treat, and later, as you burped when getting into bed, the whole experience came back. Happy days.

Mcdonald's, burger king, taco bell they all used to be much better back in the late 70's and thru-out the 1980's problably because they used lar cooking oil back then on everything. The fries were better the chicken sandwich from burger king was 100 times much more better than it is today.

1) Taco Bell used to use finely shredded cheese instead of those bigger shreds they use now which I think comes across with a richer cheese flavor.

2) The ground "beef" they use now tastes horrible and might have a different spice formula or grade of "meat" used in it now.

3) We were younger then and were more forgiving to fast food since we couldn't just have it every day.
