I have seen Ozzy in concert 5 times. Bark at the moon tour. Ultimate Sin Tour, No More tears tour, First Ozzfest, and the third Ozzfest. I only wish i could of seen The Blizzard of Ozz or Diary of a madman tour. Would of been great to see Randy Rhoads live before he left us.

That was the closet i have ever been to the stage in a concert. About 10 row and in the middle, Ozzy right infront of us. He had that white sparkle suit on with the long streamer hanging from his arms. It will forever be my favorite concert ever. Randy Castillo (RIP) was awesome on the drums. Ozzy would throw buckets of water all over the crowd.

The remastered versions are ironically not as good as the originals, IMO. The modern drum and bass sounds don't match Kerslake's and Daisley's tone, simply because they're putting the modern into the past. Does not fit well.

Yes the bass was redone because if you look up Bob Dasiley had to sue Ozzy because Ozzy(more less bitch wife) never paid him for credit. Bob Dasiley wrote the songs for Ozzy, and they redone the songs to not have to pay him. funny, it isn't the same, thank god if I ever care to listen to the old ablums I own the original version. Original version is better with Bob playing bass.

I accidentally rated this 2 stars trying to pause it. sorry...I love this song- Randy is the MAN-I was 14 when he died. He was my favorite guitarist and was coming to my hometown Civic Center, but the plane crash happened about 3 weeks before Ozzy was gonna be in town. We were angry and sad that such a master talent and great and humble person had to die senselessly.
I saw Randy on the Diary of a Madman tour. What was awesome about him was he got into his guitar playing whole heartedly. Just like Hendrix and Jimi Page so to speak. I mean he didnt jump around like a fucking clown and run all over the stage to be the center of attention.

Good grief... they even changed the first 16 seconds! The opening to the original sounds similar but if you listen carefully (headphones) you can tell the difference.
Hard to imagine Daisley and Kerslake were "harassing" the Osbournes.

@fretburner94 No, actually he's right on the money. The ORIGINAL bass track on this song is killer and blends perfectly with the guitar. THIS version, the crappy REMASTER has new bass and drum tracks - that, while performed by accomplished musicians - sound stilted and clumsey mixed in.

@dredayak18 is it? for real?!?!? fucken ozzy doing that! apparently bob daisley said this in a interview that he wrote alot of ozzy's lyrics for the first two albums. he states that the only line in suicide solution ozzy wrote was 'wine is fine but whiskey's quicker'. he wrote the rest of the song! :S

I accidentally rated this 2 stars trying to pause it. sorry...I love this song- Randy is the MAN-I was 14 when he died. He was my favorite guitarist and was coming to my hometown Civic Center, but the plane crash happened about 3 weeks before Ozzy was gonna be in town. We were angry and sad that such a master talent and great and humble person had to die senselessly.

I saw Randy on the Diary of a Madman tour. What was awesome about him was he got into his guitar playing whole heartedly. Just like Hendrix and Jimi Page so to speak. I mean he didnt jump around like a fucking clown and run all over the stage to be the center of attention.

Make sure to check out the live version. It's actually... better... in a way. And demonstrates that Randy wasn't some studio guitarist. He could recreate the same exact vibe, feel, and crispness of the studio version LIVE. Be sure to check it out- called the after hours show or something.
