  • This is not jive it's hustle fix your title.lol

  • Please note the term i have used Modern-jive. Also called CEROC

  • thanx- fixed !

  • This is NOT hustle.

  • I take dancing courses. I like how you are dancing, how you and your partner become a single body (0:7 - 0:10,0:17-0:23). Both of you are so natural, relaxed, without mechanical gestures. After watched this videoclip my wife decided to come with me. By feelings you generated you proved the dance is materia in the spiritual form! Thanks for your video!

  • sweetie, your just a dog

  • thats the hustle

  • Seamus- the leader has lived & danced in the USA. The routine was taught at a Modern Jive Day Event.

. I shall tell him he is a Hustler !

    Thanks for your comment

    Gerry

  • More as ChaCha, no?

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • Roger Sanchez, Another Chance

  • YAAAAY! thank you! :D

  • Im catching you Seamus

  • you well deserve to !

  • Was that adv? Woah... New Zealand standard is sooo much higher than that :p

  • Thanx for comment. This is NOT meant to be a championship ceroc display, but is a simplified lesson for everyone present at the course to learn. ( ...they were only beginner-intermediate level students )

Once they have learned this basic routine, they can then add on the flash body rolls & all rest of it.

Happy New Year to you TOrah

  • i m sorry but this doesnt look any like a jive to me

  • This is MODERN jive, which is also called " CEROC ". Please find my video titled " This is the real United Kingdom Jive by Kav Kavanagh ". Under the ( more..)link >About This Video, I have put a short history of Jive. You need to clik on the blue (..more )link.

  • To help you understand this move,

Please see the Video of mine shown above ( in Video Responses ).It is titled " Spot the Location, here is the way to do it "

I HAVE JUST POSTED THIS NEW CLIP.

  • woww dat was realii goood :)

  • Something the average beginner could pick up easily in fifteen years or so!

  • Come to one of our JiveNation lessons. Seamus will teach you that routine in 15 minutes. If you go to Ce**c lessons you will never improve.

  • Oh yeah! Like that "Learn German in just three weeks" video course I once spent a lot of money on. Ten years later, I was still getting absolutely nowhere. "Horses for courses", as they say.

  • At JiveNation they are running a 5 week beginners course right now. On their website there is a link to all the lesson videos, you will find it useful

  • I've done Ceroc for 18 months (about twice a week) and I have done variations on all these moves. They're not beginner moves but you could learn them after about 6/8 weeks.

  • where is JiveNation held? is Ce*** really a waste of time?

  • JiveNation is in Central London ONLY at present.

Look under my own Playlist for the " 5 week Beginners Course " - which you might find useful.

JiveNation Lessons are more challenging than Ce*** ..as you can see, though it IS exactly the same dance.

  • Nice dance! But this looks like Disco Fox (no Jive)

  • I have read on the internet that Discofox has different footwork to ceroc , presumably based on foxtrot ? ( Disco/ Foxtrot ). This internet information could now be out of date . Having looked on youtube myself , I do agree that Discofox looks compatible with , or even the same as, ceroc ( modern jive ) Perhaps others will know ?

  • Whats the song used in this video? I've definitely heard it before but I can't remember..but cool stuff, interesting to dance like that to a song like this :)

  • almost seems like a 4 count hustle.

  • Hi, an interesting dance history article can be found under ceroclondon dot com, THEN click on the West Coast Swing banner & scroll down the page. The article says it is not definative. Hustle is mentioned, as is Skippy Blair

  • Boy Wonder! Go lad

  • you cant learn that dance, if you can't see their feet

  • Yes ! I am sorry about that. A big mistake. I took this with an ordinary digital camera using its video setting. It is impossible to zoom out when it is running.

Seamus is wearing rugby boots anyway ! ( not )

  • You don't need to see the feet. Basically all your doing is stepping in and stepping out. This is why modern jive is easy to learn.

  • I will tell Seamus he dances like a rugby player warming up !

CEROC is a trading name and can only be used under a franchise agreement, so the term "Modern Jive" is used instead to describe this dance style.

  • What is this? It isn't Jive, jive is an eight-count dance. I think it must be a new european dance. Looks like it might be that CEROC thing, that dance with two steps per beat instead of eight.

  • This is the same dance as Ceroc, yep. Hardly fast though - that's what - 130bpm or so? And why is he trying to make it look like a partnered version of the Haka?
