Hey actually i think after really listening to this 4 about the 3rd i actually think she was the best outsider on that nite. Even tho Skinny's song was more known and huge in trini to me she perform better. No doubt Fay ann was d best but i tink if it had a 6th place she wud get it after shurwayne fifth. My opinion.

Well Fay ann songs were the most popular for carnival 1, alot of ppl were upset that she didnt win last year since she deserved it so many of them came out to support her bcus of the bias ting last yr jus bcus she female and dey didnt want to place her in front iwer&bunji(big guns) so she had d women support 2, she was preg so alot of ppl were amazed by her perfo(i might get blast 4 dis)3 and 2 b honest she was d bess.

N ordinary fetes alot of those song wud mash up but not soca monarch. I am sure if d crowd had responded d same 4 all d big artiste and songs. I agree with danzzz83. She need to be marketed more. I am from Rock City (St. Thomas). CP came to rock city in 2007 I didn't know who she was I thought I was going to hear the woman that sings Expose. I was impressed with her she has a very powerful voice. The song she sang at soca monarch should have been marketed hard she should have even done a video to the song. Coming in from outside of TNT you know she was the underdog but with proper marketing she would have prevailed. CP is still #1
