hey Joe, I have been watching lot of your videos, they just are fantastic... im so into the sadness you put into the songs... it touches me even more! thanks bro, from the bottom of my heart
some songs cant be expressed like they are meant to without being 8 minutes like this one. just because it's long doesnt mean it needs shortening. keep it how it is it's perfect this way. great job.
Very beautiful. I loved it, Joe! Good job with the harmonica, too! Keep it up! Eeek...I should stop using exclamation marks...it's too late at night to be exclaming...
The subtlety of the harmonica in this is refreshing. There are a lot of Bob Dylan and Donovan songs that make me wonder if they weren't trying to use it as more of an ear-splitting sonic weapon than a musical instrument.
Bravo Joe! Your songwriting is very poetic and heartfelt. I love your chord progression - a touch of melancholy and the words of a love song. THE perfect combination! Truly beautiful!
You know Joe, I've been following your work, and I really think that you've reached the point in your original song writing where you should invest in a good microphone and some recording software for home recording. As good as these songs sound on Youtube, imagine how amazing some polished recordings would sound! You have real talent Joe. You could pay the bills and more with that guitar.
thanks Jared, and I fully take your point! I've actually been looking at some different home recording setups, like Korg D3200 - just a question of getting the money together and deciding on the product... will definately be making some moves on this later this year!
