I loved this show when it first aired in New Zealand on TV3 on Sundays 7.30pm then it got moved to Thursday nights at 7.30pm - the only problem was that they edited certain scenes that were deemed unsuitable for that timeslot - which seemed to be every 2nd episode and it was so annoying because the cuts were so obvious!! I'm waiting for this to be released on DVD.

Sooooooo 90s, OMG... I remember even then thinking Cassidy Rae (Sarah), doesn't look like a model at all, so that was the first thing wrong with that series. It was centered around some plain faced chubby cheeked girl that can't act. And all the women that actually looked like models were treated as props. It was a weird show.

Models Inc.was brilliant show. Too bad they made only one season. Linda Gray, David Goldsmith, Carrie-Anne Moss, Kylie Travis, Stephanie Romanov, Kaela Dobkin, Garcelle Beauvais, Teresa Hill, James Wilder and Don Michael Paul were fantastic.

You are so right. I think DIVERSITY in a cast is "key" because if people cannot see themselves on the show (or characters they can relate to) they are less likely to watch. I say add some beautiful black, Asian "AND" Latino models on there. I could "THEN" see the show working out. I actually watched Models Inc and loved it...hate it went off the air prematurely.

Well, as a writer myself, it is difficult to write for another race because you write what you know and if you do write for them, you risk the chance of people finding a white man's version of their race offensive. So there's no winning. Easier to play it safe.

i'm not being judgmental or anything but i still to this day dont understand why there wasn't enough diversity on these Aaron Spelling shows. white people weren't the only successful ones with conflicts. Minorities were in the same boat and i feel like shows like this prevent caucasians from jumping off the high horse and there still isn't enough diversity on soaps. those are my beliefs

I think the best thing about this show was the opening and theme song. The show itself was just bad. There was no real creative vision behind it. That would be the fault of producers. I was just a generic spin off. Watching it now I see where the production team went wrong. It was a good concept that can still work if the producers would put together a good creative team.

This show should have been huge, spun off from Melrose which was at it's peak, Linda Gray playing Heather Locklears Mum but it was actually quite pants. They tried to save it last minute by bringing in Emma Samms, like they did with Heather on Melrose, but the Emma character was just too nasty, not loveable nasty like Heather was and Joan Collins before her.
