Recently a got twice fishes and when they found the wood I have on my aquarium they were so excited eating all algae they found. Probably they were so hungry or something like this, the aquarium on the shop they just had glass and some rests for food. If they are quiet its because they are happy and not hungry, probably I said.

Thats not the normal behavior of a Pleco, it should stay in one spot for a bit, not racing around looking for algae.

@CpWiser10 I bought ONE small one for my little ten gallon tank, and it did work. It grew way to fast, and then when I was cleaning the tank out by hand one day I removed him and put him into a little fish bowl and when I walked away, I came back to him not in the bowl. I think one will do. because then you don't run the risk of multiple fish not having enough food. But I'm no expert,

What do they eat? I had gold fish but they all died eventually. So feeding this the same fish food. It keeps the tank clean for sure.

how long can sucker fish stay alive out of water? cause my mum woke me up a 5am to tell me my sucker fish was out of the tank i didnt believe her so when i went to have a look he was on the floor i thought he was dead so i picked him up and he was still alive and he was black but when i put him bk in the tank he went light brown again.....
