It must have been annoying if you were a Eurostar driver when they went from Waterloo International, because they couldn't go fast because they had to travel on the existing lines! You would be temped to prod the throttle a little...
@glitch4465 the moved to a new station at st pancres which is an ideal location as the station is right next to kings cross which is the terminus for the east coast mainline and also london euston which is the terminus for the west coast mainline and as far as i know waterloo international is still shut down but the eurostar services are still running but just from another station
Sad, yes, but the new St. Pancras allows travellers from the North easier access to the Eurostar. There is more North of London than there is South. It also means reduced journey times, so now England is properly connected to Europe's high speed network :)

@badboiant29 yep as far i know it has been shut since 2004 but the government and the london council are trying to find a new use for the station

The video is of the last passenger service out of London. that other train was the last arrival...heading back to the depot.
