Ryuk looks like a freaking zombie-clown with shark teeth in this movie. Also, they game Misa black hair, which isnt according to the anime. Last but not least, L souns like a girl with his voice-morphing thing in this movie.

Oh yeah, i only watch english SUBBED, not DUBBED. Maybe its cuz of that.

I think Ryuk, especially in the end, is very cool...but the lightning and the storyline...suck!...really, believe me, this looks as though they filmed it with hand-camera!....I really LOVE the anime, but I don't want to watch this movie....

i think its because in the song it says "California rest in peace" in which California would represent Japan and so its saying Japan rest in peace. thats what i think
