I've just heard GLAAD announce that the New York Yankees have vowed to end this sort of homophobic taunting in future games. I'm not too keen on this kind of stuff, and I mourn for the next person who commits suicide due to bullying or insecurity over their sexuality. I've just heard GLAAD announce that the New York Yankees have vowed to end this sort of homophobic taunting in future games. I applaud the Yankees for taking this action, and I can't wait for the day when we can not just tolerate each other but really celebrate our diversity. There are many ways to enjoy baseball games, and no one should feel slighted because of who we are as people.

I'm a Met fan, but I promise that I'm not being biased (mainly due to the fact that my father is a diehard Yankee fan and I respect the Bombers).
I admit to being rowdy and taunting opposing players/fans, but it's a whole different ballgame (no pun intended) when you start using sexually offensive language.
