You cant really compare an E72 to an Iphone or blackberry. Blackberry is business, Iphone is for fun and the E71/E72 are in the middle with both business and fun. and in my opinion that's what makes it a good phone.

To those who think this is an answer to the Iphone 3gs, it is not, the E71 was never either, it is simply something Nokia did were they picked all the crap/ complained about bits of the Iphone and said we will make a phone that does those well, the E71 had a beautifully long battery and if the E72 goes any better I will eat my E71 while buying my E72.

Enough with the iPhone comparisons. Nokia doesn't go there and never has. Nokia knows how to make and sell solid handsets globally They design to their own standards. This phone doesn't need to be compared to a US / ATT only phone. At the end of the day, the e72 will be be purchased and appreciated across multiple countries and networks. Concerning technology, the iPhone owes many answers to the conumers on its many shortcomings.

The E72 is basically a refresh of a model from last year, it isn't supposed to be innovative.

Very cool, although I'm a bit surprised by it. E71 is only a year old and a much longer time went between E61 and E71. But I guess it makes sense considering how much more successful E71 was. Also neat it have a 5mp camera, although I wonder how good it actually is.

I'm also slightly annoyed that E71 already got a "successor" while N82, which is half a year older, doesn't. Give me a good quality candybar with the 8mp camera found in N86 and a xenon flash, and I will be extremely pleased.

For some reason, Nokia will nearly stack releases within the same year. Seems as though this would prevent the sales of the E71 from reaching full potential. Must be working; they keep doing it. Keeps you wanting the next thing... and ever disappointed with your new purchase.
